    A lifelong resident of this
    city, Mrs. Leber was a member
    of Salem United Church of
    Christ, its women's Guild and
    Home Department and of the
    Ladies Auxiliary of Post No.
    264, American Legion. she was
    the widow of Alexander Leber,
    who died in 1948.
    Surviving are four daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Fred Sattleburg,
    Tonawanda, Mrs. Carl Belling,
    Town of Amherst, Mrs. Wil-
    liam Hurdiss and Mrs. Lu-
    cinda Hartwig, both of this
    city; three sons, Joseph A.
    Leber, Buffalo, Carl a. and ed-
    ward P. Leber, both of Tona-
    wanda; 15 grandchildren and
    12 great-grandchildren.
    The Rev. Walter F. Hetzel,
    assisted by the Rev. Karl H.
    A. Rest and the Rev. Richard
    W. Hurdiss, Cleveland, Ohio, a
    grandson, will conduct the fu-
    neral service at 3 p.m. Monday
    at the Hilliard Funeral Home.
    Burial will be in White Chapel
    Memorial Park.

    great - grandchildren. She was
    the mother of the late George Leber
    and Miss Elsie Leber
    Friends may call at the Hilliard
    Funeral Home, 147 Delaware St.,
    Tonawanda, where services will
    be held Monday at 3 o'clock. Rev.
    Richard W. Hurdiss of Cleveland,
    Ohio, Rev. W. S. Hetzel and Rev.
    Karl H. A. Rest will officiate.

    at 2 o'clock at the Hilliard Funeral
    Home, 147 Delaware St., Tonawan-
    da, for George A. Leber, 64, a
    prominent figure in county Ameri-
    can Legion work, who died Friday
    in the Veterans Hospital, Buffalo,
    after a long illness. He was a
    native of Tonawanda.
    The Rev. Walter f. Hetzel, pas-
    tor of the Salem Evangelical and
    Reformed Church, tonawanda, will
    officiate and burial will be in White
    Chapel Memorial Park.
    Mr. Leber, a member of Tona-
    wanda Post 164, was past post,
    county and Eighth District com-
    mander. He served as state de-
    partment vice commander; was a
    former director of the veterans
    mountain camp at Tupper Lake'
    child welfare chairman of the state
    department for many years;
    serbed on the National Committee
    as chairman of Area B and was
    service officer for the local post
    for more than 25 years.
    He served with Company K,
    175th Regiment, National Guard,
    from 1911 unti 1941. He retired as
    armorer of the tonawanda Arm-
    ory in 1949. he was a member of
    Voiture 388, 40 & 8 and the Last
    Man's Club of Post 264.
    He was a past alderman of Tona-
    wanda, serving from 1949 until
    1957.
    Surviving are his wife, Caroline
    (nee Wober), one daughter, Mrs.
    Harold Mongold; one son, Ellis G.
    Leber; one grandson, William E.
    Leber; his mother, Mrs. Alex Le-
    ber; five sisters, Mrs. Fred Sat-
    tleberg, Mrs. Carl Belling, Mrs.
    William Hurdiss, Miss Elsie Leb-
    er, Mrs. Edmund Hartwig; all of
    the Tonawandas' and three broth-
    ers, Carl and Edward of Tonawan-
    da and Joseph of Buffalo.

    A lifelong resident of this city,
    Miss Leber was employed in a
    supervisory capacity by the Remington-
    Rand Corp. plant here for
    41 years. She was a member of
    the Rem-Rand 25-Year Club and
    of Salem United Church of Christ.
    Surviving are her mother, Mrs.
    Alexander Leber; with whom she
    resided; four sisters, Mrs. Fred
    Sattelberg this city, Mrs. William
    Hurdiss and Mrs. Edmund Hartwig,

    Andrew Scott Belling, 57, of Lewisville, NC, formerly of North Tonawanda, Wednesday January 11, 2023 . Andrew was born in North Tonawanda on June 18, 1965 to David and Mona Lou (Campbell) Belling. Andrew is a graduate of Sweet Home Highschool class of 1983, Alfred State University with his bachelor of science in Ceramic Engineering, General Manager at Siemens Energy then Thermacraft Inc., he also held general manager and plant leadership positions for Morgan Technical Ceramics, Spectrum Control, AVX and Bourns. Andrew was predeceased by his father David Belling.
    Andrew is survived by his wife Julissa Cerino Belling, daughters Julie and Jenny, Son Gavin Belling, and step children Giancarlo Figueroa, Monserrat Figueroa, and Felix Figueroa, mother Mona Lou (Campbell) Belling, Sister Brenda (William) Mott, brother David (Claire) Belling, also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
    Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Martin Lutheran Church, 322 Old Falls Blvd, North Tonawanda, NY 14120. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coral.org, for coral conservation and protection of coral reefs.
