    BENEDICT-The funeral services for the
    late William E. Benedict, who passed
    away Thursday, December 9. were held
    at the home. 2012 10th St.. Sunday
    afternoon. Rev. John A. Redmond and
    Rev. William F. Saye officiating. The
    bearers were Olenn R. Banks, W. J.
    Cowling, W. A. Hodson, Alex P. Klettke.
    Roger St. Maurice, Gervase Rhoney,
    William Sherry and Dean Thompson.
    Interment was in Rlverdale cemetery.

    William E. Benedict, 44. of 2012

    Tenth street, land surveyor for the
    Niagara Falls Power company, by
    which he had been employed for
    25 years, died this morning in the
    Buffalo General hospital. He had
    been in ill health for two years.
    Born in North Tonawanda, Mr.
    Benedict had resided here since he
    was ten years old. He was active
    in civic affairs and was a member
    of the executive committee of the
    Young Men's Republican club, the
    Pioneers club of the Niagara Falls
    Power company and St. Paul's Men's
    club and a director of the Juniaga
    club.
    He is survived by his wife. Mrs:
    Marion R. Benedict, of this city,
    and two , nieces, Mrs. Lorraine
    Henderson, of this city, and Mrs.
    Jean Doel, of Miami, Fla.
    Plans for the funeral were being
    completed this afternoon
