    Frank Beningo, 61, of 2021
    Grand Ave., died unexpectedly
    Friday (March 5, 1971) in
    Memorial Hospital, Hollywood,
    Fla., after he was stricken by
    an apparent heart attack while
    vacationing there.
    A native of Wishaw, Pa., Mr.
    Beningo came to this city in
    1935 and was employed by the
    Hooker Chemical Corp. for 36
    years as a maintenance man.
    He was a member of Hooker's
    25-year Club.
    He is survived by his widow,
    Rose (Archer) Beningo; and by
    four daughters, Mrs. Albert
    (Patricia) Campana of - the
    Town of Niagara, Mrs. Eugene
    (Rose Ann) Miller of Sanborn,
    Mrs. Thomas (Frances) Wolffe
    of Dunkirk and Miss Nancy
    Beningo, at home.
    Also surviving are six
    brothers, Samuel, A n t h o n y ,
    Joseph and James Beningo, all
    of Niagara Falls, Ralph Beningo
    of Detroit, Mich., and
    Thomas Beningo of Hollywood,
    Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. John
    (Josephine) Teixiera, this city,
    and Mrs. Anthony ( R o s e)
    Traunce of'Port Chester, N.Y.;
    and nine grandchildren.'
    Funeral services will be held
    at the M.J. Colucci Funeral
    Chapel Tuesday at 8:45 a.m.
    and at Our Lady ° of Mount
    Carmel Church at 9:30. a.m.
    Burial. will be in Gate of
    Heaven Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the
    funetal home from 7 to 9 p.m.
    Sunday and from 2 to 5 and
    7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
    The family requests that
    memorials be made to the
    Niagara County Heart Chapter.
    Recitation of prayers will be

    at 8 p.m.

    Joseph John Teixeira, Sr., 85, passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Largo Medical Center, Largo FL on April 10, 2016. Loving husband of Elizabeth (Mann) Teixeira; loving father to Maria (Patrick) Dillon, Joseph, Jr. (Stephanie), Patrick (Lenora), Robert, Charles (Joanne) Teixeira, Richard (Gina) Mann and the late Michele Hay; loving grandfather of Patrick and Joseph Dillon, Patrick, Jennifer, Julia, Joey, Andrew and Gianna Teixeira, Grandpa Joe to Brittany (Chris), Bradley, Robbie, Lianna (Joey) and Stephanie. Also survived by brothers, John P. (Jackie) Teixeira, Jr., Charles P. Teixeira; sister, Carol (Sam) Chism; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also predeceased by one brother, Patrick Teixeira.
    Born in Scranton, PA he was the son of the late John P. and Josephine M. (Beningo) Teixeira, Sr. Joseph moved to Swoyersville, PA as a child, attended local schools and graduated from Swoyersville High School. In 1951, he moved to Niagara Falls and attended Erie County Technical Institute where he earned an Associate's Degree in Metallurgical Technology. Joe served in the United States Army in Tokyo during the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge he worked on the Niagara Power Project. Joe was employed by the Carborundum Company for 26 years until his retirement as Operations Manager in the New York and Niagara Falls, Ontario plants in 1987. In 1989, he became the Facilities Engineer for AFPS.
    He was a parishioner of St. Leo's Church and past president of the Holy Name Society. Also a member of the Plant Managers Association of Niagara, the Moose Lodge, Town of Niagara Snow Rangers, Town of Niagara Planning Board, a life-member and past president of Niagara #1 Volunteer Fire Department and member of the American Legion #252 in Largo, FL.
    Visitation will be Friday April 22nd from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Saturday, April 23rd at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on at 10 AM at St. Vincent De Paul at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, concluding with Military Honors. Interment in Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, FL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
