Robert retired from the University of Buffalo, after working there for over 20 years, at his retirement, he worked as a Financial Aide Advisor. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, the outdoors and tinkering and fixing things.
    Robert is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna (nee Borst) Weir; father of Melissa (Kaleb Magee) Weir, Robert W. (Amanda) Weir Jr., Andrea L. (Joshua) Willis and Lindsay (David) Fiedler; grandfather of Clair, Aaron, Benjamin, Abigail, Elizabeth and Oliver. Robert is also survived by his brother Brian (Miriam) Weir and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call on Thursday March 2nd from 2 to 4 PM, where services will immediately follow at 4 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.

    Brian J. Weir, age 67, of the City of Tonawanda, unexpectedly passed away on July 30, 2024. Brian worked for Caltronix of Rochester and Sierra Research of Cheektowaga throughout his career as a calibration specialist. Brian was an avid camper and boater. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his family. Beloved father of Thomas Weir, Alan Weir, and Brandon (Amanda) Weir, stepfather of Daniel. Grandfather of Elliot, Zander, Jillian, Tyler, and Dawson. He was the brother of the late Robert Weir. He was the Fiancé of Miriam Wynn. Friends may call at the Fretthold & Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St at Seymour St. in the City of Tonawanda on Monday, August 5th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held privately.
