Born in Niagara Falls, NY. Son of Edward F. and Theresa A. (Palm) York. He was a 1966 graduate of Wilson High School, Wilson NY. He served in the US National Guard. Louis was employed by Tops Markets as a truck driver from 1973-2014 when he retired. He was a member of the Ransomville United Methodist church and former trustee. Louis loved spending time with his family. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Loved to travel, especially Disney. He was an avid card player.Loving husband of Sharon York (Krzywda) for 35 years. He is survived by his three daughters, Jennifer (Christopher) Seger, Jamie (Derek)Renaud and Nicole York, his grandsons, Spencer Seger and Mason Seger, granddaughter, Leah Renaud. His siblings, Bonnie (York) Schafer, Shawn York, and Melody (York) Dixon. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Debbie (York) Hermanson. Several nephews and nieces. His loving cats Lucifer and Loki.Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 24 from 3-7 PM at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 7:00 PM.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ransomville Vol. Fire Co.
