CASTILE - Jennie May Bennion, 65,
died September 12, 1957 at her home
in Castile, where she has spent most oi
her life.. Born August 30, 1892 in the
Town of Granger. She was the daughter
of Edgar and Electa Smith Perry. .
Survivors are her husband, Chester,
Sr.; two sons, Roy of Rose and Chester,
Jr. of Casile; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille
Strain of Portageville and Mrs.
Gertrude Davis of Castile; a sister, Mrs.
Howard Billings of Lamont and three
brothers, Dewey Perry of Short Tract,
Darwin of Oakland and Walter of Hunt.
She also leaves eight grandchildren
and four_ greatgrandchildren, and an
uncle, Earl Smith of Castile.
Funeral services were held Sunday
at 2 p.m. from ' the Harmon Funeral
Home, with the Rev. Andrew Podlesney
of Portageville officiating. Burial was in
the Grace Cemetery.

Jennie married BENNION, Chester A on 10 Jan 1910 in New York. Chester (son of BENNION, Henry H and TASKER, Matilda M) was born on 13 Sep 1887 in New York; died in Aug 1965 in Nunda, Livingston County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Mrs. Lucille M. Strain, 71, of Portageville
died Thursday (Sept. 6,
1984) in Wyoming County Community
Hospital, Warsaw.
Born in Genesee Falls, she was a
longtime resident of the Castile and
Portageville area. She was the
widow of Everett Strain and retired
in 1964 from the Robeson Cutlery Co.
in Perry. She was a member of the
Portageville Community Baptist
Church.
Surviving are two sons, Everett of
Nunda and Donald of Dalton; two
brothers, Roy Bennion of Newark
and Chester of Nunda; eight grandchildren
and five greatgrandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted
Saturday in Castile. Burial was in
Portageville Cemetery. Memorial
contributions may be made to the
Portageville Community Baptist
Church.

Richard Merit Strain, the 14
months' old son of Mr. and Mrs.
Everett Strain, died at the War-
saw hospital early Thursday morn-
ing. Funeral services were hed
from the Aldrich funeral home in
Silver Springs on Saturday after-
noon, Rev. Henry W. Stevens,
pastor of the United community
church, officiating.

lor, 22, died April 23, 1960 at
Warsaw hospital following a
short illness.
Born April 20, 1938 in Perry
she was the daughter of Paul
and Gertrude Bennion Davis.
She lived in Castile and attended
Letchworth C e n t r al
School.
On December 27, 1958, she
was -united in marriage to
Leon Baylor. Her parents arid
husband survive. Other survivors
include her grandfather,
Chester Bennion of Nunda;
a sister', Mrs. Joanne Mayle;
one brother, Robert Davis,
and one niece, and one ne-
phew.
Funeral services were held
Tuesday, April 25, 1960 at
2:30 p.m. at the Baptist Church
in Portageville, with Rev. An-
drew Podlesney officiating.
Burial was made in Grace
Cemetery, Castile.
