    Howard “Bill” W. Benthin Jr., age 81, of North Tonawanda, May 5, 2015 at his home, after a lengthy illness, and surrounded by his loving family. Howard was a U. S. Air Force veteran, serving with the Security Police. He was a former employee of Durez and Dan's Collision. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, billiards, and playing cards. He was a former member of the Park Athletic Club. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Novosat) Benthin. Dear father of Donald (Pam) Benthin of Florida, Debora (Tim) Wade of North Tonawanda, David (Helen) Benthin of Maryland and the late Howard W. Benthin III. Grandfather of Donald, Daniel, Charlie, Tabitha, Brandon, Patrick, and Kaitlin. Great-grandfather of Samantha, Ariannah, Isabel, Brayden, and Bryce. Brother of Mary Jane Trecziak of North Tonawanda; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 A.M. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Medina.

    NORTH TONAWANDA - Howard William Benthin
    III, 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard
    Benthin II, 731 Ruie Road, died Friday (July 8. 1966)
    at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
    Death was attributed to pneumonia.
    He also Is survived by his
    brother, Donald; a sister, Deborah,
    and his grandmother,
    Mrs. Howard Benthin; grandparents,
    Mr. and Mrs. Steph-
    en Novosat, both of this city.
    A Mass of the Angels will
    be said at St. Joseph's Church
    at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will
    be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery,
    Medina.
