Richard Brodfuehrer died at home on Tuesday (August 10, 2010) under the care of Niagara Hospice with his family present at the age of 85 years. Richard was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. As an Electrical Engineer, he worked at Bell Aerospace until 1973 and then retired from Niagara Cutter in 1987. He was the Union President for the Niagara Cutter Independent Shop Union. He was an avid traveler and enjoyed playing bridge. As a WWII U.S. Army Veteran he served in the European Theater and he was awarded the Purple Heart, the French Fourragere, the ETO Ribbon with 4 Campaign Stars and one Arrowhead and the combat infantry badge. Brother of the late Helen Burngasser, Raymond Brodfuehrer and James Brodfuehrer. Beloved husband for 37 years of Jacqueline (nee Adams) Brodfuehrer. Loving father of Patricia (the late A.J.) Buchanan of St. Petersburg, FL, Richard J. (Janine) Brodfuehrer of Endicott, NY, Joanne (Stephen Parus) Brodfuehrer of Ann Arbor, MI, William E. Brodfuehrer of North Tonawanda, Michael (Leslie) Brodfuehrer of Milton, VT, Keith (Rosanne) Stolzenburg of East Amherst, Gary (Rebecca) Stolzenburg of North Tonawanda, Linda (Terrence) Boyle of Depew. Proud grandfather of 16 grand children and six great grandchildren. Beloved brother of, Sr. Roselle Brodfuehrer, S.B.S. of Philadelphia, Doris Jones of Spencer, WV, Ruth (the late Vincent) DiVirgilio of North Tonawanda and Charles (Diane) Brodfuehrer of North Tonawanda. Brother-in-law of Jerome Burngasser, Elvira Brodfuehrer and Marion Brodfuehrer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received by the family on Friday, 3-8 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson St. in North Tonawanda. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd, North Tonawanda. The family asks that memorials be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Niagara Hospice, Inc. or the Buffalo Veterans Hospital Oncology Department.

Doris Irene Jones, 79, of Spencer, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness. She was born October 31, 1931, in North Tonawanda, NY, a daughter of the late Elmer Albert and Irene Christine Milliman Brodfuehrer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Burngasser; three brothers, Richard, Raymond and James Brodfuehrer. She was a homemaker, a member of the Roane General Hospital Auxiliary and the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Spencer. Also, she was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include one son, Donald Jones of Spencer; two daughters and son-in-law, Cynthia and James Lyons of Spencer and Teresa Richardson of Spencer; two sisters, Roselle Brodfuehrer and Ruth DiVirgilio; one brother, Charles Brodfuehrer; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A service will be held Monday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Spencer, with Rev. Fr. Tom Chacko as celebrant.

Obituary for Charles T. Brodfuehrer
Charles Thomas Brodfuehrer, 82, of N. Tonawanda, died peacefully on April 3 in Florida, surrounded by his family. Charles was a veteran of the US Army and retired from teaching at Starpoint Central High School after 32 years. He was the son of the late Elmer and Irene Brodfuehrer. Charles was predeceased by siblings Helen, Richard, Raymond, James and Doris.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Diane (Wehrung) Brodfuehrer; father of Janice (Joseph) Kagenski, Kathleen (William) Wolff, Steven (Jennifer) Brodfuehrer and Ronald (Christine) Brodfuehrer; grandfather of Michael (Sara), Steven, Megan, Alyssa, Kevin, Suzanne, Joslyn, Christine, Gunnar, Delaney, Garrett, Ava and Julia; brother of Sister Roselle Brodfuehrer and Ruth DiVirgilio. 
Friends may call Thursday, April 20 from 6-8 PM at Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Dr., N. Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM at St. Christopher Church. Burial will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery.

February 7, 2014 Michael R. Brodfuehrer Anonymous The Tonawanda News The Tonawanda News Fri Feb 07, 2014, 10:31 AM EST MILTON, VT - Michael R. Brodfuehrer, 25, of Milton died on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at Fletcher Allen Health Care. Micheal will be remembered most for his smile, his sense of humor, and his love for life. He enjoyed watching all sports, and playing games around the kitchen table with family and friends. Michael is now home with his Savior and free from pains of his disability. He was born in Buffalo, NY on December 12, 1988, the son of Michael F. and Leslie (Southard) Brodfuehrer. Michael is survived by his parents, Michael and Leslie Brodfuehrer of Milton; his sister, Kaitlyn Brodfuehrer of Milton; his grandmothers, Margaret Manuel of St. Petersburg, FL and Jackie Brodfuehrer of North Tonawanda, NY; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visiting hours will be held Friday, February 7, 2014, from 4-7 PM at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Dr., Essex Junction, VT. A funeral service celebrating Michael's life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 1:00 PM in Trinity Baptist Church, 300 Trinity Dr., Williston.
