KIPHUTH-The funeral of the late
Mrs, Fredericka Kiphuth will occur
from the family home at 240 Young
street Sunday afternoon at 1:30
o'clock, and a half hour later from
Salem's Brick Church, the Rev. John
G. Whittlinger officiating. Interment
will be at Salem's cemetery.

FREDERICK KIPHUTH
Frederick Kiphuth, 78 years old,
died yesterday afternoon at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. William
Grobe, 32 Walter avenue,
after a brief illness with pneumonia.
He was a life-long resident
of Tonawanda and a member
of the Salem Evangelical
church and the Home Department
of the church. Surving are two
daughters, Mrs. Grobe and Miss
Mabel Kiphuth; a son, William;
two grandsons, Leonard and William
Grobe; a brother, John, Orlando,
Fla., and three sisters, the
Misses Amanda and Lena Kiphuth
and Mrs. Louisa Kratt, all
of Tonawanda- Rites will be held
Saturday afternoon at 2:30 from
the Grobe residence. Rev. Walter
F. Hetzel will conduct the service
and burial will be in Salem cemetery.
Mr. Kiphuth was a member
of Tonawanda Council, No. 117,
Jr. O.U.A.M.

Frank C. Kiphuth, 57 years old, a
life-long resident of Tonawanda, died
at his home at No. 35 Slmson street
last night after a lingering illness
Mr. Kiphuth was a member of Tonawanda
Council, No. 117, Jr. O. U. A
M..; Tonawanda Camp, Modern Woodmen
of America, and the Delaware
Hose Company. Besides his wife,
Mrs. Catherine Kiphuth, one son,
Franklin Kiphuth, two daughters,
Helena and Gertrude Kiphuth, two
brothers, John and Fred Kiphuth and
three sisters, Mrs. Louise Kratt and
the Misses Amanda and Lena Kip
huth, all of Tonawanda, survive. The
funeral will be held from the family
home at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon
and a half hour later from Salem
church on Morgan street, Rev. Andrew
Hils officiating. Burial will be made
in Elmlawn.

NORTH TONAWANDA, July 31
-Word was received here today
of the death of John H. Kiphuth,
.89, which occured Monday at his
home in Orlando,_FIa.
Mr. Kiphuth was born at St.
Johnsburg and had lived there and
in the Tonawandas until he moved
to Florida in 1920. He was a
former member of the Salem Evan-
gelical and Reformed church and
a former employe of the R. T. Jones
Lumber .company here.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
Marie Kiphuth, Orlando, and the
following children, Robert and
Oscar Kiphuth, New Haven, Conn.,
Herman Kiphuth, Pittsburgh, Pa.,
John Kiphuth and Mrs. Hugh Gang-
wish, both of Orlando. Nine grandchildren
and four great grandchildren
also survive.
Funeral services were held at
Orlando today.

Miss Lena Kiphuth, 84, died last
evening of a heart ailment while
visiting Mrs. Lena Deering, 756
Eagle St., Dunkirk. A native and
lifelong resident of Tonawanda,
Miss Kiphuth was a member of
Salem Evangelical Church, The
Home Department and Women's
Guild of the church. She is survived
by a brother, John Kiphuth
of Orlando, Florida, six nieces and
seven nephews. Funeral services
will be Thursday at 3:30 p. m. in
the home of Mrs. Harry Lockman,
240 Young St. Burial will be in
Salem cemetery. The Rev. Lester
Driftmeyer will officiate.

Mrs. Louise Kratt nee Kiphuth,
79, died Saturday evening at her
home, 240 Young street, after a
brief illness. She was lifelong
resident, a member of the Salem
Evangelical and Reformed church,
the Women's Guild, the Adult
Bible class and the Missionary
society of the church. She is survived
by a daughter, Mrs. Ruth
Lockman; two grandchildren,
Jean and Jane Lockman; a sister,
Miss Lena Kiphuth, all of Tonawanda,
and a brother, John
Kiphuth of Orlando, Fla. Rites
will be held tomorrow afternoon
at 2:30 from the residence. The
Rev. Walter F. Hetzel will officiate.
Burial will be in Elmlawn.
