    Born in Germany, she had
    been a resident of Tonawanda
    the greater part of her life and
    was the wife of Wendel
    Beringer Sr.. who died in 1956.
    She was a member of St.
    Francis of Assisi Church, the
    Altar Societv and the Ladies of
    Charity.
    She is survived by four
    daughters, Mrs. Charles
    (Teresa) Tomaselli of Niagara
    Falls, Mrs. Daniel (Anne)
    Reisch, Mrs. Joseph (Rose)
    Nowak and Miss Helen Beringer
    all of Tonawanda;- eight sons,
    Wendel M. Jr. and W. Robert,
    both of North Tonawanda.
    Joseph F. and.-John H. of
    Kenmore. Anthony N., Nicholas
    P. and Charles J. of Tonawanda,
    and Frank G. Beringer of New
    Hampshire; two sisters. Mrs.
    William (Helen) Haas and Mrs.
    Elmer (Ann» Harmon: two
    brothers, John and George
    Sieber. all of Tonawanda: 20
    grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
    Friends mav call from 2-4 and
    7-9 p.m. at the John O. Roth
    Funeral Home. Morgan and
    William Streets, Tonawanda.
    where services will be
    conducted at 11 a.m. Monday,
    followed by a Mass of the Resurrection
    in St. Francis of Assisi
    Church at 11:30 a.m. The Rt,
    Rev. Msgr. Ralph M. Miller will
    officiate. Burial will be in Mt.
    Olivet Cemetery

Bob had been employed by National Grinding Wheel in North Tonawanda and was a custodian for the North Tonawanda School System. He also was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.     Helen J. Beringer, age 80, of Tonawanda, died Friday, October 21, 2016 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Wendel and Rose (nee Sieber) Beringer. Helen was a lifelong resident of Tonawanda and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She had been employed at Applied Design in North Tonawanda before retiring.

    She is survived by her brothers, Charles (Charlotte) Beringer of Tonawanda and Nicholas Beringer of the Town of Tonawanda. She was the sister of the late Wendel, Joseph, Anthony, John, Francis, and W. Robert Beringer, Theresa Tomaselli, Anne Reisch, and Rose Nowak. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her dear friend, Dorothy Hathaway.

    Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Tuesday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday at St. Francis Chapel, 71 Adam Street, Tonawanda. Friends invited. Interment will be cared for privately at Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton. If desired, memorials to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 73 Adam Street, Tonawanda, NY 14150, are preferred by the family.
