LOCKPORT-Lawrence A. Bishop, formerly of 15
Pearl St., died here Friday (Jan. 5, 1968) after a
lengthy illness. He was 57.
He was born Aug. 12, 1910 in
Lockport, the son of John and
Mary Bishop. He was employed
as a chauffeur and had formerly
worked for the Ha skin
Mayflower Trucking Co. and
more recently, for Star Oab Co.
He is survived by a son,
Duane Bishop; three daughters,
Mrs. Wallace (Donna) Kleinhans,
Mrs. Thomas .(Elaine)
Wagner, and Miss Sue Ann
Bishop, all of Lockport; three
brothers, William, Bernard, and
Ralph, and four sisters, Mrs.
Thomas (Veronica) B r u n d y,
Mrs. Calvin (Elizabeth) Berner,
and Mrs. Dorothy Martin, also
all of Lockport, and Mrs. Al
(Ann) Drean of North Hollywood,
Calif.; seven grandchildren,
and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends- may call at the Taylor
and Reynolds Funeral Home,
Niagara St. .at N. Transit St.,
Lockport, where prayer .services
will be conducted Monday at 10
a.m. Burial-will be in St. Mary's
Cemetery, Lockport.
Lawrence married MILLS, Mildred on 30 Dec 1933 in New York, and was divorced on 19 Oct 1960 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY. Mildred (daughter of MILLS, Tracy O and GARDNER, Priscilla) was born about 1916 in New York. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
