The funeral of Gottfried Bernhardt
who died Thursday at the De Graff
hospital, was held yesterday after-
noon from the late residence in 108
Duckwitz street. Rev. E. A. Schultz
officiating, followed by services a
half hour later at Frieden's church,
Schenck and Oliver streets. Inter-
ment was in Elmlawn. The funeral
was largely attended.

Gottfried married GROSS, Mary J about 1891. Mary was born in Jul 1871 in Germany; died in Jul 1919 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Raymond G. Bernhardt 47, of
287 Schenck street, died suddenly
yesterday afternoon at the home
of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Ella
Johnson, 173 Vandervoort street.
He was a life-long resident and
a member of the Friedens church.
He leaves his wife, Lydia; a
daughter, Mrs. Herbert C. Berndt
of North Tonawanda; a grandchild
and a sister, Mrs. Earl Owen of
Dunkirk. Rites will be held Thursday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from
the residence. The Rev. Theodore
Mayer will officiate and
burial will be in Elmlawn
