    NIAGARA FALLS —
    Alfred R. "L.T.D." Tiede, Jr., 59, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life, unexpectedly, on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at his residence. Born on February 10, 1954 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Antoinette (Cornacchia) Tiede of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Alfred R. Tiede, Sr.
    Mr. Tiede was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. Alfred attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. He worked as an Automotive Mechanic for various local repair shops. Mr. Tiede was an animal lover.
    In addition to his mother, Mr. Tiede is survived by three siblings, Debra (Michael) Pasqualichio of Lockport, NY, Karl (Carol) Tiede of Lewiston, NY and James Tiede of Niagara Falls, NY; eight nieces and nephews, Joseph Pasqualichio, Tiffany McGovern, Eric Tiede, Brett Tiede, Dana Dunn, Thomas Tiede, Kimberly Tiede and Michele Tiede; and three great-nieces and great-nephews, Courtney Dunn, Charles Dunn and Bianca Tiede. Alfred is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by one nephew, Karl Tiede.
    The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday, May 29th from 4-8 PM in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). A private graveside committal service will be held on Thursday in Riverdale Cemetery in Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.
