Lorenc, 86, passed peacefully at The McAuley Residence on Tuesday October 22, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. His parents, Jakub and Barbara (nee Mierzwa) Lorenc; siblings, Eugenia "Jean" and William Royer, Frank (Frances) Stella, Jane (Pete) Whitman; and his loving wife, Frances (nee Moskal) Lorenc predeceased him. He was employed as a cost estimator for Applied Designs in North Tonawanda. He enlisted into the United States Army and served his country honorably during World War II from 1945 through 1947. Joseph is survived by his step-son, Dennis (Debra) Regnier; brother of Cecelia "Sally" (late Chuck) Garthwaite, Edwin (late Lillian), Edward (Nancy), Henry (MaryAnn) Lorenc and Mary (late David) Zombotti; step-grandchildren, Derik, Danielle, Dana, Lynne and three step great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Family and friends please assemble at church.     Henry J. Lorenc, 92, passed away on May 22, 2024, in his hometown of North Tonawanda, NY.
    In 1961, Henry married his beloved wife, Mary Ann, in a beautiful ceremony at their hometown church. Together they raised four children: Mark, Tom, Lynn and Michelle. Henry was a devoted grandfather to Elizabeth, Michael, Bridget, Joseph, Margaret, Jacob, Allison, Benjamin and Katherine. He is survived by many loved nieces and nephews.
    The wake will be held on May 24 from 4pm - 7pm at Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, NT. Henry will be laid to rest with military honors at Mount Olivet Cemetery on May 25 at 11am, please assemble at the cemetery office parking lot, 4000 Elmwood Avenue. There will be a reception immediately following at Banchetti by Rizzo’s, 550 N. French Rd.

Dennis was a U.S. Army Veteran, member of Stephen Sikora Post #1322, Salem United Church of Christ.

She is also survived by her nephew Jacob (Nicole) Zombotti and niece Jenna (Justin) Pitts and great-nieces Luna Katherine, Nora Jean and Zoe Rae who she treasured. She is survived by several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. She leaves behind good friends Bruce, Melinda and Lois.
    A celebration of Joanne's life will be held at a later date. Contributions in Joanne's name may be made to the American Kidney Society. She will be missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, helpfulness and love for her family will be remembered and cherished forever.
    Final interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Tonawanda, NY.

Carole loved walking along the river at Niawanda Park and enjoyed nights of dancing and karaoke with friends. She was proud of and enjoyed helping and caring for the elderly and developmentally disabled. She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Lillian Lorenc. Beloved mother to Judy (Stephen) Ornella, Tammy Mang, and Tom (Christine) Durow. Grandmother of Alexandra, Matthew, Jeffrey, Kristina, Michael, Aidan, and Tyler.
