    Barbara J. Trzeciak, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 24, 2022 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Buffalo, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Marie (Gallina) Sdao.
    Barbara was a 1957 graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  She was employed for 10 years with the Niagara Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau, and most recently worked in Human Resources at Seneca Niagara Casino for 13 years prior to her retirement in 2019.  Barbara enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, planting flowers, and sitting on her porch.  She especially enjoyed going to lunch and dinner with her friends.
    Barbara is survived by her son, Mark Trzeciak, and her daughter, Leslie (Clinton) McCauley; her grandson, Colin McCauley; her sister, Shirley (William) Bevacqua, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 27 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, 14304, where funeral services will begin on Monday at 9:45 AM, followed by Barbara’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, 27th and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Entombment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.

    David W. Bevacqua, 61, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY after a long illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of William and Shirley (S’dao) Bevacqua.

    David was a lifelong resident of the area. He attended local schools, graduated from Bishop Duffy High School and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree at Niagara University. He married Micheline (Bellemore) Bevacqua on New Year’s Eve in 1986. David was the vice president of his family’s business S’dao Furniture in Niagara Falls. He was an active member and served as past president of the board of associates of Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital. David was an avid golfer and thirty-six year member of the Niagara Frontier Country Club. He also organized many charity golf tournaments. David’s other pleasure was playing pool during the winter months with his golf friends who were known as the “Sweet Sixteen.” He also had lunch with a select group of friends every Thursday at the Como for the past forty years.

    In addition to his wife of twenty nine years, David is also survived by four children; Nicole (David) Balzer, Alex (Savana) Bevacqua, Christopher (Feren) Bevacqua and Lauren Bevacqua; five grandchildren, one sister Beth (Jack) Maggi and was also loved by his extended family and many friends.

    Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 14th at 10 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
