Larry was an accomplished mechanic who started his career at Lisle and Ricker working on International Harvester farm equipment. Shortly after Lisle and Ricker closed, Larry took on a full-time position at Keeler Construction in Albion, where he dedicated himself for the next 45 years.

He was passionate about helping others whenever he could. On Sundays, Larry and Michele loved having breakfast out at the local restaurants. Afterwards, Larry loved to drive around and tour the countryside looking at equipment and taking note of everything that had changed. He was very knowledgeable about many topics, always having a thought or an answer when in discussion. He was known to be able to recite the extended genealogy of practically any family.
