Mrs. Ila Billings, 74, passed
away September 20 at the Wyoming
County Community Hospital.
She had been ill about a
year. Most of her life was spent
in Lamont. Her first husband,
Edwin Geyer died in 1922.
Mrs. Billings was born February
25, 1882, at Belfast. Her
father's name was James Seeley
and her mother was Julia Van de
Walker.
I Mrs. Billings was a member of
the Lamont W.C.T.U.
She is survived by her husband,
William Billins; a son,
Shirley Geyer, Buffalo;-a broth-
er, Burt Seeley, Arizona; two
sisters, Mrs. Emma Preyer, Eden
and Mrs. Ellen Clouse, Fillmore;
sevveral nieces and nephews.
The services were held Sunday,
September 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Harmon Funeral Home, with
Rev. Edward Black officiating.
Burial was in Lamont-cemetery.
