    Notes:

    Betty Jane Choquette, 89 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday August 25, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence.  Born in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Fuller and Laura (Bixler) Turner.
     
    Betty married Wilfred Choquette on October 26, 1946 at Immaculate Conception Church in Ridge, NY.  Mr. Choquette predeceased her in 1991.  For several years, Betty worked as a machine operator at the former Warder Paper Box Company in Niagara Falls.  She later worked at the time of her retirement, as a grandmother and child care aide through the Trott Access Center.  In her leisure time, Betty enjoyed crocheting and photography, but above all, cherished attending family gatherings.  

    Mrs. Choquette is survived by two sisters, Carol (Robert) Bzinak and Diane (Gary) Alexis, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.  She was also predeceased by four sisters, and one brother, Winifred Turner, Florence LoStracco, Jeanette Barroncotta, Thomas Turner and Nancy (Al of Newfane, NY) Benson.  
     
    Betty’s family would like to thank the staff of 2 East at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence and Niagara Hospice for the compassionate care she received.

Born January 17, 1945 in Niagara Falls, NY; daughter of the late Olin and Laura (Bixler) Haskins. Diane was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and plants, loved caring for her dog Redmin, and cat Shu-Shu, and Elvis collectibles. Survivors include her husband, Gary Alexis. They were married March 17, 1972; a daughter, Cristina Dziadzio of North Tonawanda, NY; a grandchild, Stephanie Dziadzio of North Tonawanda; and a sister, Carol (Bob) Bzinak of Niagara Falls.Diane was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Turner; and four sisters, Betty (Wilfred) Choquette, Florence (Thomas) Lostracco, Nancy (Al) Benson, and Jeanette (Sal) Baroncotta.A graveside service will take place on Wednesday (November 4) at 11:00 a.m. in Niagara Falls Memorial Park, Town of Lewiston, NY. Arrangements are with the DuBois Funeral Home, Wheatfield, NY.

David retired from Newfane Central School as a custodian, when he then worked as a cook at Horizon Health Services in Sanborn, NY. Dave enjoyed spending his time by the water, traveling to Florida, cooking and volunteering at local horse stables. Dave was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Father of David R. Benson Jr. and Nichole M. Barrett. Brother of Lori (Michael) Mills, Daniel (Jennifer) Benson, Alexander Benson and John (Heather) Benson. Loving cousin of Billy, Tommy and Tina. Also survived by nieces and nephews; Jennifer, Anthony, Amanda, Nicholas, Alexis, Aden, Cole and Eliza as well as several great nieces, nephews and Teri Benson. Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 1-5pm. Inurnment will be held on Monday July 29th, for Family and close friends at Corwin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Equistar and 4-H,
