    Barker; one son, Dennis Crafts
    of USAF of Goose Bay, Laborador;
    two grandchildren, his mother,
    Mrs. Gail Crafts of
    Barker; three sisters, Mrs.
    Fern Clapp of Ransomville,
    Mrs. Flo Belle Fredricksen of
    Newark. N.Y.; Mrs. E f f ie
    Green of Perrysburg, Ohio; one
    brother, Lynn of Mount Prospect,
    Ill. Beginning Friday evening,
    friends may call at the
    Hood Funeral Home, Barker,
    from 2-5 and 7-9, where services
    will be held Monday at 10:30.
    Interment in Somerset Cemetery.

    BARKER - Samuel A. Crafts
    46, of Barker, died Thursday in
    Newfane Inter-Community Memorial
    Hospital, where he had
    been .. patient for several days.
    He was a patient for four weeks
    at Cleveland Clinic, where he
    had heart surgery, prior to going
    to the Newfane hospital.
    Mr. Crafts was born March
    18. 1923 in Barker, the son of
    Lynn and Gail Burgess Crafts.
    His mother survives him.
    Mr. Crafts served for two
    years in the engineer corps in
    the Pacific Theatre during
    World Wai II. He was married,
    June 3, 1944 to the former Beatrice
    Blackley of Lockport, who
    survives him.
    He had been employed for 14
    years as a journeyman millwright
    by Harrison Radiator Division.
    General Motors Corp.
    He was a member and past
    commander of Herbert Carr
    Post 423, American Legion and
    member of Somerset United
    Methodist Church.
    In addition to his widow and
    mother he is survived by two
    daughters, Mrs. Dexter L. Mc
    Cantry and Miss Annette Crafts,
    hoth of Barker; a son, Dennis
    Crafts, serving with the U.S.
    Air Force in Goose Bay, Labrador:
    two grandchildren; three
    sisters Mrs. Fern Clapp of Ransom
    vilic, Mrs. Flo Belle Fredricksen
    of Newark and Mrs.
    Effie Green of Perrysburg, Ohio
    and a brother, Lynn Crafts of
    Mount Prospect, III.
    Beginning this evening,
    friend? may call from 2 to 5 and
    7 to 9 p.m. at the Hood Funeral
    Home, Barker, where funeral
    servire? will be held at 10:30
    a.m. Monday. The Rev. Allyn
    rosfpr. pastor of Somerset United
    Methodist Church, will off.
