    Blacklock of this village, died at his
    home Thursday. The funeral was held
    Sunday; aftenoon. He was born in
    England but had resided for 15 years
    in Model: City. He is survived by his
    wife, two daughters. Mrs Ray Holli-
    day of Niagara Falls, and Jessie at
    home and two sons, Elton Blacklock of
    Pekin and Edgar at home; one sister,
    Mrs. E. E. Cornell of Mount Pleasant,
    Mich., and three brothers, George
    Blacklock of Appleton; William Black-
    lock of Tonawanda and Christopher H.
    Blacklock of Wilson.

    PEKIN - Lifelong resident of
    the Pekin area, Elton C. Blacklock,
    70, died at his home, Upper Moun-
    tain Rd., Monday (Sept. 16, 1957).
    He was born in the Town of Lewis-
    ton Aug. 4, 1887, a son of the
    late John and Bertha Heiden
    Blacklock.
    For 19 years, Mr Blacklock

    was employed by the C. F. Treichler
    and Sons Florists. Sanborn.
    a n d for another 15 years as a
    lathe operator at the Great Lakes
    Carbon Corp . Niagara Falls. He
    retired two years ago.
    Mr Blacklock was a member of
    Forest Lodge, 100K, Sanborn and
    the Woodsmen of the World.
    Survivors include his wife. Bertha
    Hudson Blacklock: one daughter.
    Mrs. Burton Ashby, Colonial
    Village; one brother, Edgar Black-
    lock, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sis-
    ters, Mrs. Maude Holliday, St. Pe-
    tersburg, and Mrs. Alexander
    Bradt, Niagara Falls; one grand-
    son and two step-granddaughters.
    Funeral services will be held at

    the Pike Funeral Home, Hoover
    Rd., Sanborn, Thursday afternoon
    at 2 with the Rev. W. Donald
    Housser. pastor of the Sanborn
    and Pekin Methodist Churches, officiating.
    Burial will be in North
    Ridge Cemetery.

    Mrs. Maude Elizabeth Holliday,
    died Thursday, Feb. 8, 1968, In
    Memorial Hospital a f t e r a
    lengthy illness.
    She was born Jan. 7. 1889 in
    Town of Lewiston, the daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. John Blacklock.
    Her husband, the late
    Royal H. Holliday, died in 1960.
    She was a member of LaSalle
    Eastern Star Lodge No. 785,
    and of St. James Methodist
    Church.
    She is survived by a daughter,
    Mrs. Violet Colquhoun, a
    sister, Mrs. Jessie Bradt, both
    of this city; a brother, Edgar
    Blacklock, St. Petersburg,. Fl a.,
    and one granddaughter.
    Friends may call tonight
    from 7-9 p.m. at the Cobler Funeral
    Home, 640 Park Place. Funeral
    arrangements are tentatively
    set for Monday in St
    Petersburg, Fla., where she will
    be interred.

    28 A street, was killed in action in.
    France on August 6, according to a
    commission telegraph message received by his
    Parents from the United States War
    deparrtment.
    Born in Niagara Falls, Private
    Holliday graduated from North
    Junior high school and was employed
    for a time by the Shredded
    Wheat company and the Aluminum
    Company of America here. He entered
    the army March 24, 1942, at
    Libby, Mont., and received his train
    ing at Camp Callam, Camp San
    Louis Obispo and Camp Le Mesa,
    Calif. He was on duty on the west
    coast until last March when he
    went to England. He crossed the
    channel to France last month.
    Besides his parents, he is sur-
    vived by a sister, Mrs. Violet Col-
    quhoun, of this city.

    have been a member of the Niagara
    Falls high school 1953 graduating
    class, died late yesterday at the
    Buffalo General hospital. She had
    been ill since last April.
    She is survived by her parents,
    Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Bradt; a
    sister, Muriel Julia Bradt,, this city,
    and a brother, Lt. Douglas A. Bradt,
    Ft. Benning, Ga.
    Funeral services for Miss Bradt
    will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Fri-
    day at the Gridley Funeral home by
    the Rev. Jesse J. Simoson, minister
    of the First Christian church.
    Burial will be in Memorial Park
    cemetery.
