(Smith) Bellavia, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls. Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Gladys (Felton) Smith. Edna moved to Welland, Ontario at the age of seven and attended area schools there. In the 1940s, she worked at United Steel Co. in Welland, Ontario. On October 5, 1945, she married Philip Bellavia in Erie, PA, and following their marriage they came to Niagara Falls, NY, where she lived until the present time. Mr. Bellavia predeceased her on March 28, 2004. During the early 1960s, she was a pharmacist assistant at the former Crest Pharmacy and in the mid-1960s she worked at Singer Drugs and Saraceni Drugs for ten years each. She retired in 1999 after working for seven years at DiCamillo's Bakery on Linwood Avenue in Niagara Falls. Edna was a longtime member of the former Sacred Heart Church and served on the Sacred Heart Renovation Team. She was also a member of several area senior citizen organizations, including the Socialites, St. Stan's Social Club, the Reunited Senior Club and the Young at Heart Senior Club. Edna is survived by two sons, Guy (Gail) Bellavia and Frank (Barbara) Bellavia, Sr., both of Niagara Falls, NY; a step-daughter, Jennie Piwowarski of Cheektowaga, NY; three grand- children, Carrie (Dave) Roeser, Frank (Brianne) Bellavia, Jr. and Dana (William) Rodgers; three step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Gladys (late Alfred) Pearson of Font Hill, Canada; three brothers, Alvin Smith, Sidney (Shirley) Smith, both of Welland, Ontario, Canada, and Charles (Joane) Smith of Florida; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers, Dorothy Villella, Edmund Smith, Edgar Smith, Donald Smith and Ellen "Dolly" Warner. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Thursday, October 10th at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.     Guy Bellavia, 76, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Philip and Edna (Smith) Bellavia.
    Guy was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1968. On December 21, 1973 he married his beloved wife, Gail (Loverde) Bellavia in Grand Island, NY. 
    Guy was employed with the New York State Parks Department for many years prior to his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed tending to his garden, as well as being with his dogs, Bonnie and Clyde. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his granddaughters, Abigail and Julianna. 
    In addition to his wife of 51 years, Guy is survived by his daughter, Carrie (David) Roeser; two granddaughters, Abigail and Julianna Roeser; his sister-in-law, Carol (Bill) Glassner, and brother-in-law, Russell (Debi) Loverde; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his parents, Guy was  predeceased by his brother, Frank (Barb) Bellavia and his brother-in-law, Edward (Mary) LoVerde.
    In accordance to Guy’s wishes no funeral services will be held at this time. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.

    Frank P. Bellavia, Sr., 65, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Thursday, February 7th, 2019 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Philip and Edna J. (Smith) Bellavia. Frank attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School in 1972. On May 26, 1973 he married his beloved wife, Barbara (Casper) Bellavia at the former Sacred Heart Church. Frank was the owner and operator of Frank’s Body Shop on Niagara Falls Boulevard for 25 years. He later retired from Listen Manufacturing Company as a machinist after 15 years of service. In his leisure time he enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife of 45 of years, Mr. Bellavia is survived by his children, Frank (Brianne) Bellavia, Jr. and Dana (William) Rodgers; four grandchildren, Bryce and Ian Rodgers and Frank, III and Zoe Bellavia; his brother, Guy (Gail) Bellavia and half-sister Jennie Piwowarski. Frank is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 12th from 2 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 7 P.M.
