    Ruth E. (May) Clements, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 in Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born on May 16, 1928 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Matilda (Pettitt) May.  On July 26, 1947, she married John H. Clements, Sr.  He predeceased her on August 6, 1992.
    Ruth was employed by the Spirella Clothing Store, the United Office Building and for 15 years at the YWCA as a fitness instructor.  
    Ruth will be remembered for her “PMA (positive mental attitude)" as well as being an inspiration to many.  Ruth enjoyed watching soap operas, gardening, traveling with her family, visiting Tim Hortons and Bob Evans, and feeding the birds.  Above all, her life was centered around her family.
    Ruth is survived by her children, John H. (Margaret) Clements, Jr. of Lockport, NY, Sherrie Deacon of the Town of Niagara, NY and Deborah (David) Ellis of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Paul, Randy, Aaron, Amy, Jamie, Benjamin, True and Trevor; great-grandchildren, Logan, Gracie, Sydney, Michael, Sarina, Matthew, Chloe, Alexis, Benjamin, Jr., Jenna, Regina, William, Liam and Elijah and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was predeceased by siblings, Frances Wasenko, Dorothy Woolcutt, Kenneth May and Elizabeth Gilchrist. 
    Visitation will be on Thursday, February 1st from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.  Family and friends are invited to attend a service on Friday, February 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, 5871 Military Road, Lewiston, NY, where she will be laid to rest beside her late husband.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the ALS Association, www.alsa.org.

    and at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady
    of Mount Carmel Church.
    Burial will be in Gate of
    Heaven Cemetery.
    The Rosary will be said at
    the funeral home at 8 p.m. Fri-
    day.

    LEWISTON — Dorothy Louise (May) Woolcutt, 89, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, Lewiston, NY, after a long illness.

    She was born on December 6, 1923 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late William and Matilda (Pettit) May.

    In 1943 she married William Robert "Bill" May. He predeceased her on November 23, 1953. On June 28, 1957, she married Charles Woolcutt.

    Dorothy graduated from Niagara Falls High School and worked for a time at Marine Midland Bank. In her leisure time, Dorothy enjoyed bowling, reading, gardening and shopping and loved hiking and picnicking with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteering at Memorial Medical Center Gift Shop for 20 years.

    She will be remembered for her joke telling and her love of making people laugh.

    Dorothy is mourned by her devoted husband, Charles Woolcutt; daughter, Diane (James) Biniecki of Amherst; sons, Darryl (Pamela) May of Ransomville and Kenneth (Ruth) Woolcutt of Edwards, IL. Also bereaved are her six grandchildren, Margaret (Ron) Nowak, Susan (Steve) Moretti, Kevin (Cindy) May, Sabrina May, Jacob and Sarah Woolcutt. Great-grandchildren, Michael, Christopher and Steven Nowak and Isaac, Liam and Stella May also survive. Dorothy also leaves behind one sister, Ruth (late Henry) Clements and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Kenneth May, Frances Wasenko and Betty Gilchrist.

    The family will be present on Friday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY. Memorials may be made in her name to the Lewiston Public Library, 305 S. 8th St., Lewiston, NY 14092. Inurnment in Budd Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.

    TAYLOR - Sandra Anne "Sandy" Age 67, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at her residence in Fort Pierce, FL. Sandy was born in Niagara Falls, NY and has been a resident of Fort Pierce for the past three years, coming from Buffalo, NY. Prior to retirement, Sandy was employed by the Kenmore Public School System in New York for thirty years. She was formerly President of the Kenmore Schools Support Staff Union, Springville Country Club Women's Division and Brighton Park County Club Women's Division. Sandra was Secretary of the Tennis Club and Golf Club at Spanish Lakes Fairways. She enjoyed Arts & Crafts, tennis and golf. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her husband, Robert (Bob) Taylor of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters Careen A. Stauffiger of Kenmore, NY, Janeen M. Crosson of Angola, NY, stepson, Robert K. Taylor Jr. of Portland ME; sisters Gail Rogers of Punta Gorda, FL, Darlene Sturak of Fort Pierce, FL and three grandchildren.     Diane L. Biniecki (nee May), 77, the beloved wife of the late James Biniecki, of Amherst, NY passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 23, 1944 she was the daughter of the late William May, the late Dorothy Woolcutt and step-daughter of Charles Woolcutt. Diane graduated from Lewiston Porter High School and attended Niagara University.

    She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandsons, Mike, Chris and Steven Nowak. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed dancing.

    She is survived by daughters Penny (Ron) Nowak, Sue (Steve) Moretti, brother Darry (Pam) May and brother Ken (Ruthie) Woolcutt. She is also survived by numerous cousins and family members.

    The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday October 16, 2021 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive in North Tonawanda where Memorial Services will follow at 11:30 AM.
