Schumacher, 70, of 72 Cornell
avenue, died in the Highland
nursing home Saturday. She
had been in failing health six
months and a patient in the
nursing home the past month.
The funeral was held this
afternoon at the Donaldson
funeral home and at Emmanuel
Congregational church.
Burial will be made in Riverdale
cemetery, Niagara Falls,
Tuesday morning.
Mrs. Schumacher is survived
by a daughter, Mrs.
Glade (Lois) Lantz, Massena;
t h r e e grandchildren; two
brothers, Louis Wills, Tampa,
Fla., and Lee Wills, Ransomville;
two 6isters, Mrs. Theodore
(Henrietta) Blodgett,
Hartford, Conn., and Mrs.
Lester (Aseneth) Schultz, Ransomville.
She was born in Lewiston
Sept. 30, 1895, a daughter of
Charles and Anna McCollum
Wills. She attended schools in
Niagara Falls and was married
to Carl Schumacher Oct
4, 1924, in that city. The
couple moved to Massena 35
years ago and Mr. Schumacher
died while on a visit to
Niagara Falls Oct. 3, 1953.

RANSOMVILLE, Dec. 5.-Mrs. Mary
Baker, Wife of Courtland Baker, died
yesterday at the home of Mr. Baker's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. L: Baker of
Porter Center, after a long illness. Funeral
services will be held from the
Baker home on Saturday afternoon at
2 o'clock with the Rev. H. E. Crowley
officiating. Interment will be in Hosmer
cemetery,
Mrs. Baker was born in this vicinity
and her death Is mourned by a host
of friends and relatives. Besides her
husband she Is survived by three brothers,
Louis and Adelbert. of Ransomville;
and DeLeo of Youngstown, and
three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Blodgett, of
Springfield, Mass.. Mrs. Carl Schumacher
of Niagara Falls, and Mrs.
Lester Schultz of Ransomville.

Paul E. Schultz, age 78, of Ransomville, died on Friday, May 13, 2011, in Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, after a short illness. Paul was born on July 19, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Lester and Asenath (Wills) Schultz and was a lifelong resident of Ransomville.. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1952 and in November entered the U.S. Army to serve during the Korean War. Paul spent most of his military service at Ft. Hood, Texas and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant in November of 1954. He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal. On June 24, 1953, he married Ruth E. (French) Schultz. Ruth predeceased him on November 19, 2006 after 53 years of marriage. After his discharge from the Army, Paul returned to Ransomville to join the family business, Ransomville Bus Lines. He co-owned and operated the business until his passing. Paul was a member of the Ransomville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, boating and being with his family.. He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Bliss of Franklinville, NY and Carol (Gerald) Huff of Youngstown; two sons, Kenneth (Janet) Schultz and Stephen Schultz, both of Ransomville; his grandchildren, Michael Metcalf, Jeremiah and Sarah Huff, Kendra Fellows, Kimberli Boyer, Kailey and Kiana Schultz; and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Bonnie Cantara and Phyllis Schultz.. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Sunday, May 22nd from 1-5 and 7-8:30 PM. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 8:30 PM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Matthew Worley officiating. Burial will be private in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria.
