Harold F. Blood, 34, died late
T h u r s d a y in the home of his p a r e n t s,
Mr. a n d Mrs. W. S. Blood.of the Gal-
l o w a y road.
S u r v i v i n g besides his p a r e n t s are
h i s widow, M r s . M a r j o r i e K i n g Blood;
a son, Lloyd; two s i s t e r s , Mrs. Claude
B e e c h l e r and Mrs. Donald Morse of
B a t a v i a , and four b r o t h e r s . Floyd of
B e r g e n , L a v e r n e of New Mexico and
B u r t o n and Horace of Batavia.
F u n e r a l s e r v i c e s were in the home of
hi s p a r e n t s Sunday.

Harold married KING, Marjorie M on 17 May 1922 in East Pembroke, Genesee County, NY. Marjorie (daughter of KING, Pansy) was born on 22 Apr 1901 in New York; died on 15 Jul 1988. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Mrs. Marjorie King Blood of East
Pembioke has received word from
the War Department of the death in
action of her son. Technical Sergeant
Lloyd John Blood . The. sergeant, a
radio operator on a B-17 Flying Fortress,
had been listed as missing in
action since April 10. 1915 and Is now
known to have died on that date.
Sergeant Blood had been in service
about two years at the time of his
death. He took part in raids over
several important German factory
cities before his plane was finally
downed by enemy action.
