    Mrs. George Strasenburgh
    Mrs. Marion E. Carson Strasen-
    burgh of Morton, formerly of Ba-
    tavia, died on Wednesday, May 29,
    1940 at the Park Avenue Hospital
    in Rochester, where she had been
    confined for seven weeks.

    Mrs. Strasenburgh was born at
    Bethany on December 20, 1902, a
    daughter of Theodore and Eunice
    Blood Carson. She resided in Batavia
    until 1920 when she moved to
    Rochester and later to Morton. She
    was married to George Strasen-
    burgh in February, 1935.
    Surviving Mrs. Strasenburgh, be-
    sides her husband and mother, are
    an infant son, sidney George; a
    brother, Charles W. Carson of Roch-
    ester, formerly boys secretary of
    the Batavia Y.M.C.A. and several
    uncles, aunts and cousins.
    Funeral services for Mrs. Strasen-
    burgh were held at the Morton Bap-
    tist Church Friday afternoon. The
    Rev. A. Gillies officiated. Interment
    was in the Morton Cemetery.
