    Randolph NY Register - 8/6/1937

    Jamestown-An overdose of sleep-
    ing tablets probably caused the
death of Clayton W. Bluckhorn, 35,
of 739 East Second Street at the
    W. C. A. Hospital Thursday eve-
    ning, July 29, at 8 o'clock. Coroner
    Henry C. Wadsworth, Lakeworth,
    determined following an investi-
    gation of the case.
    According to statements made
    to Mr. Wadsworth, Bluckhorn pur-
    chased the tablets Wednesday be-
cause he had been unable to sleep
of late. Mrs. Bluckhorn found her
    husband asleep when she returned
    home late Thursday afternoon and
an hour later when his brother,
    Sherman L. Bluckhorn, came home
he thought the man's sleep was
not natural and a physician who
was summoned had him sent to
    the hospital. Death followed with-
    in three hours.
