Mark W. Barnes, 48, of 84 Charlotte
St., an employe of Bell Aircraft
Corporation, Niagara Falls
Boulevard, died Wednesday at
Lockport City Hospital after a
short illness. Mr. Barnes a Bell
employe for 14 years, was a former
steward of CIO Local 501.
Mr. Barnes was born in Olean
July 23, 1906. He is survived by
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Hoffman, Angelica; his wife, the
former Miriam Bluhm; a son,
Mark Jr., Lockport; a brother,,
Philip L., Rochester; two sisters
Mrs. Ernest Thomas, Belmont and
Mrs. Christine Kelly, Olean, and
two grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday
at 4 o'clock at the Prudden and
Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee
St., the Rev. Ernest E. lieu
er, pastor of Trinity Lutheran
Church, officiating. Burial will be
in Cold Spring Cemetery.
