T u e s d a y afternoon at her home,
1124 Seventh avenue, Mt. P l e a s a n t.
The service will be F r i d a y afternoon
at 2 o'clock at the home of
her daughter. Mrs. James Mc-
Auliffe of 1124 S e v e n t h avenue, cond
u c t e d by Rev. H e r b e r t D. Shimer,
p a s t o r of the F i r s t E n g l i s h Luthera
n Church. Burial will be in P a r k view
cemetery, State street. The
house will be open t o n i g h t from 7
to 9 o'clock.
Mrs. Blume was the d a u g h t e r of
the late Lyman Vedder and Evelyn
Cregier. She was a member of the
F i r s t E n g l i s h L u t h e r a n Church.
She is survived by one daughter,
Mrs. James McAuliffe, two sons,
Lewis of this city a n d F r e d e r i c k jr.,
of New York; a s i s t e r , ' M i s s Corn
e l i a Vedder of Lisha Kill, and a
b r o t h e r , Charles Vedder of N i a g a ra

Mrs. Edith M. Blume McAuliffe,
73, the widow of James
J. McAuliffe, died yesterday at
her home, 18 Elder St -
A native of Schenectady, Mrs.
McAuliffe had been employed
in the industrial motor department
of the General Electric
Co. for 24 years before her
retirement eight years ago. She
was a communicant of St.
Luke's Church.
Survivors include two daugh
ters,-Mrs. Irving L. Sprung of
Rotterdam Junction ^and Mrs.
Randolph Stelle, Brentwood,
L.I.; a brother Lewis Blume,
Schenectady; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the
Griswold Funeral Home and at
9 in St. Luke's Church, where
a requiem high mass will be
celebrated. The funeral home
will be open after 7-p.m. tomorrow

Hospital after a long Illness.

A LIFELONG Schenectady
resident, he was a self-employed
painter and paperhanger. A veteran
of World war I. Mr. Blume
was a member of American legion

Survivors .Include his wife,
Mrs. Lucia Verhagen Blume; two
daughters, Mrs. Louis Lofforthun
and Mrs. Staats Flnkle of
this city; five sons, Edwin Blume
of Baltimore. Md; Frank Blume
of Albany; Frederick Blume of
Poughkeepsie: Kenneth Blume of
Phoenix. Ariz.; and Donald
Blume of New Orleans, La.; one
stepdaughter. Mrs. Donald Arnof
ott of this city one brother,
Lewis Blume; and one sister,
Mrs. Edith Mc.Aullff, both of this
city.

from the Bond funeral
home, with Rev. Roland Kelly
of Broadway Methodist Church
officiating. The funeral home
will be open tonight after 7.
