three grandchildren; a greatgrandchild

R. Mietz, 85, formerly of Salt
Works Road,, Medina, died
Tuesday at Orchard Manor
Nursing Home following a long
illness.
She was born April 27, 1898,
in Wolcottsville, the daughter
of William and Anna (Pogel)
Blumreich. She was a member
of Trinity Lutheran Church,
Wolcottsville and its Ladies
Aid Society.
Wife of the late Fred J. Mietz
who died in July, 1982, she is
survived by one sister, Mrs.
Edward (Alice) Organisciak
Miller of Medina; four sistersin-
law, Mrs. Edward (Mabel)
Weber of Medina, Mrs. Elmer
(Leola) Mietz, Mrs. Fred
(Evelyn) Winters and Mrs.
Albert (Minnie) Eichelkraut,
all of Gasport; several nieces
and nephews, and a very dear
friend and companion, Miss
Ruth Bishing of Royalton
Center.
Friends may call Thursday
(2-4,7-9) at the Bates, Wallace
and Heath Funeral Home, 38
State St., where funeral services
will be held Friday at 11
a.m. with the Rev. Donald
Willmann officiating.
Burial will be in Mount
Pleasant Cemetery, West
Shelby.
