NIAGARA FALLS -
Sharon R. Bierley, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. She was born in Lockport, NY on January 23, 1946, the daughter of the late Earl W. and Winifred (Andalora) Wolcott, Sr.
Mrs. Bierley graduated from Trott Vocational High School, with her hairdressing degree. She operated a hairdressing salon from her home for many years. Mrs. Bierley was a member of the First Congregational Church and volunteered at Heart and Soul. She enjoyed genealogy and bowling.
Mrs. Bierley was the wife of the late William L. Godding and the late Robert F. Bierley. She is survived by three sons, Brett L. Wolcott, Charles and Dan Godding; two brothers, Robert and Grant Wolcott; a sister, Dawn (Larry) Wine; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bierley was the sister of the late Earl W. Wolcott, Jr. and the grandmother of one late grandson.
The family will be present on Friday from 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at First Congregational Church, 822 Cleveland Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev. Marna Pritchard officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Interment at Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
