    WILFRED C. BOCKMIER NIAGARA FALLS - Wilfred C. Bockmier, a former resident of Allegany, died Monday (Dec.22.1980) in Niagara Falls.Born Nov. 2. 1918. in Allegany, he was a son of Henry and Florence Allen Bockmier.He was married to the former Irene Lindermoth, who survives.Mr. Bockmier was employed at the Globar Division of Carborundum Corporation in Niagara Falls.He was a member of the Prince of Peace Church of Niagara Falls: and a past member of Allegany Volunteer Fire Department; and past member of Niagara Falls Auxiliary Police Force.Surviving besides his widow,are two sons, Wilfred R. (Bud)Bockmier of Niagara Falls and Robert J. Bockmier of Bonita Springs. Fla.; four daughters,Mrs. Mary Jane Dier and Mrs.Robert (Marjorie) Kelly, both of Niagara Falls. Mrs. Donald(Shirley) Hughes and Mrs.San to (Patricia) Zanghi. both of Bonita Springs; a sister. Rosamond Bovaird of Clearwater. Fla.: and 10 grandchildren.Friends will be received at the Lane Funeral Home. Inc..8622 Buffalo Ave. Niagara Falls, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to9 p.m.. where a prayer service will be held Wednesday (Dec.24. 1980) at 8:30 a.m.. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a m. in St. John's DeLaSalle Church. Niagara Falls. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Allegany.

    Mary Jane (Bockmier) Dier, 77, of Niagara Falls, NY, departed this life on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital.  Born on January 19, 1941 in Olean, NY, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred C. and Irene E. (Lindermoth) Bockmier.
     
    Mary Jane was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended LaSalle High School.  She was employed in the environmental services department of Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, for 10 years, and previously for the Roadway Inn on Buffalo Avenue.  Mary Jane was a communicant of Prince of Peace Church.  She loved bowling and above all caring for her family.
     
    Mary Jane is survived by sons, Thomas I. (Sheri) Dier, Jr. and Timothy J. (Jennifer) Dier; grandchildren, James, Jeffery, Brittany and Stephany and many great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by siblings, Shirley A. (late Donald) Hughes, Wilfred R. “Buddy” (Patricia) Bockmier, Robert J. (Shirley) Bockmier, Patricia Irene “Patty” (William) Lacy and Marjorie J. Kelly; an aunt, Marjorie J. (late David) Kennerknecht and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was predeceased by a son, Mark Dier and her former spouse, Thomas I. Dier, Sr.
     
    All services and interment are being privately held.  Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R. Goodlander of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the American Cancer Society.
