    KRELL - Edward L. Krell, 21,
    of 47 Jackson Ave., North Tona-
    wanda, at home Sunday (May 27,
    1956). He was the son of mrs.
    Maurice Bickler of North Tonawan-
    da and Percival Krell of Buffalo;
    brother of Robert Krell with the
    Air Force at Portsmouth, N.H.,
    and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ju-
    lius Anderson of Niagara Falls.
    Friends may call at Rhoney
    Funeral Home, 1124 Ontario Ave.,
    Niagara Falls, after 2 p.m. Tues-
    day where services will be at 11
    a.m. Thursday, the Rev. John E.
    Wickenden officiating. Burial will
    be in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara
    Falls.

    Shot in Head

    An autopsy was ordered today
    in the. death of a former Niagara
    Falls man, Edward L. Krell, 21,
    of 47 Jackson Ave., North'Tonawanda,
    wbo was found dead in the
    bedroom of his home yesterday
    with an internal gunshot wound to
    his head.
    Police were called to the home
    by Maurice Bickler, same address,
    ttepfather of the victim. Patrolmen
    Melvin Foels and Anthony Piskor,
    who were detailed to the case, reported
    the body was fully clothed
    on a single bed in a second floor
    bedroom.
    Mrs. Dorothy Bickler, mother of
    the victim, said she noted a light
    in the room between 3:30 and 4
    a.m. She went into the room,
    picked up a 22 caliber rifle and put
    it in a closet where it was found
    by police.
    Klnzly in Charge
    Mrs. Bickler became hysterical
    after she told poice she didn't
    know why she put the rifle away.
    Mr. Bickler was unable to give any
    information on the tragedy, police
    said.
    Dr. John C. Kinzly, coroner, was
    expected to issue a. certificate of
    death by suicide, according to the
    Rhoney Funeral Home, this city,
    where the body was taken.
    Mr. Krell was a native of this
    city and attended North Junior High
    School. He also attended the Pittsfield
    High School, Pittsfield, Mass.
    He served for four years in the
    Air Force and attended gunnery
    school.
    He had been employed for the,
    last six months as a chemical operator
    at the Niagara Alkali plant.
    Rites Thursday
    Besides his mother and stepfather,
    he is survived by his father,
    Percival Krell, Buffalo; his brother,
    A/2c Robert Krell, serving with
    the Atr Force at Portsmouth. N.H.:
    and his great-grandparents, Mr. and
    Mrs. Julius Anderson, this city.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    at the funeral home at 11 a.m.
    Thursday. with the Rev. John E.
    Wickenden officiating.
    Friends may call at the funeral
    home after 2 p.m. tomorrow.
    Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
