NORTH TONAWANDA, Sept. 13,-
Frederick W. Parkes W years old, died
last night in his home, 102 Christiana
street. He was born In Germany and
had resided In this city for 53 years.
He was a member of the North Freebyterlan
church and also a member
of Sutherland Lodge, No. 828, F. and
A. M-; Electric City Lodge, No. 662,
t O . O . F.. and Enterprise,Encampmeht,
No. 88, of Electric City lodge.
Surviving Mr, Parkes are his wife,
Mrs. •Rosa Parkes, this city, and a
son, Leo V. Parkes, and two grandchildren,
all of Niagara Falls, N. Y.;
a sister, Miss Florence Parkes, Tonawanda,
and a brother, John L. Parkes,
Chicago.
Funeral services will be held In the
home, under auspices of the Masonic
and Odd Fellows lodges on Sunday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Dr. L??
K. Grimes will officate and burial
will be in Acaia Park cemetery.
