    Kenneth E. Schultz

    Kenneth E. Schultz, age 81, of Appleton, entered into rest on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Newfane. Born September 8, 1928 in Hartland, he was the son of the late Edwin and Dora (Chase) Schultz. Ken served in the US Army from 1945 until 1948 stationed in Korea. Kenneth married Betty Jane Zastrow July 2, 1949 at Concordia Lutheran Church. Mrs. Schultz died April 6, 1994. Ken and Betty traveled to California on their Harley Davison Motorcycle. They had rode together on their motorcycles for 45 years. He had worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport as a tow motor operator. He retired September 1, 1982. His loving companion, Dorothy Weir of Olcott, survives Ken. Ken is survived by his loving daughter, Barbara Jo Kirsch (John Beals) of Appleton; dear grandfather of Melanie (Paul) Kirsch-McClintock of Denver, CO and Melissa Kirsch of Rochester; brother of Charles (Nancy) Schultz of Burt and Ralph (Elizabeth) Schultz of Ransomville; half-brother of Bonnie (Raymond) Rehm, Doug (Mary) Schultz, Edward Schultz, Richard Schultz, Gary Schultz and the late Roger Schultz; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane on Monday from 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Charles Jennings officiating. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery, Newfane, NY.     LAKE MONTICELLO, VA -
    Bonnie Lee (Schultz) Rehm, 69, of Lake Monticello, VA, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born on February 24, 1945 in Lockport, NY, a daughter of the late Kenneth Schultz and Dora Bell (Chase) Schultz.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Schultz.
    Mrs. Rehm taught in the Lockport, NY School System for over 30 years. She was a graduate of Lockport High School and Buffalo State University, where she earned a Master of Elementary Education degree. She was a member of the Lake Monticello Beautification Corps and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
    Survivors include her husband, Raymond F. Rehm; two sons, Thomas S. Rehm and Christina Corey of Ashville, NC, and Brian C. Rehm and his wife, Jennifer of Stanardsville, VA; three brothers, Douglas, Charles and Ralph Schultz; and four grandchildren, Catherine, Phoebe, Brian and Cody Rehm.
    A funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Thacker Brothers Lake Monticello Funeral Home. The viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of your choice.
