NIAGARA FALLS - Fiorina "Fi" M. (Grimaldi) Shiposki, 92, lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Niagara Falls on April 22, 1921, a daughter of the late Antonio and Gloria (Paonessa) Grimaldi. She attended local schools and graduated from the old Niagara Falls High School. She married George Shiposki on January 11, 1947, at Our Lady of Lebanon Church, and they remained happily married for 53 years until his passing in 2000.

Mrs. Shiposki was employed by Carborundum until the birth of her first child. She returned to work in the cafeteria at Bishop Duffy High School when her children were in school. She was a longtime member of St. Charles Roman Catholic Church where she was a bingo worker.

She is survived by two sons, George (Lydia) Shiposki and John Shiposki; grandchildren, Stacie Shiposki and Matthew Shiposki, all of Niagara Falls, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Shiposki was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Shiposki in 2000; and her loving daughter, Judy Shiposki in 1989. She was also predeceased by seven siblings, Marian (Anthony) Beningo, Rose (Tom) Kean, Mary (Joseph) Ferguson, Stella (Joseph) Shiposki, Marguerite (Louis) Scalzo, Tom (Ann) Grimaldi and Joseph (Betty) Grimaldi.

Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, on Friday from 4-8 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in the Town of Lewiston. Donations may be made in Mrs. Shiposki's name to a charity of one's choice.

heart attack while
visiting relatives at Hillsdale,
N. Y. His age was 36.
Mr. Beningo was a native of

Business Institute, Buffalo.
For the last four years he
has been employed as a
stenographer by the New
York State Liquor Authority.
Prior to that he had worked
at Bell Acrosystems and Kimbcrly
Clark Corp.
He is survived by his wife,

Raymond W. Beningo, 81, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Niagara Falls, died on March 17, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Gladys (Strasburg); five nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard. Services were held on March 25th in Spring Hill. Interment will be in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls.
