    RANSOMVILLE -
    Lorraine A. Pollow, age 95, of Ransomville, died on Friday, May 9, 2014 in her home under the loving care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Lorraine was born on April 30, 1919 in the Town of Porter, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Hillman) Zimmerman and was a lifelong area resident. On November 5, 1942, she married John Pollow, Jr. John predeceased her on August 25, 1983.
    Lorraine was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge. She enjoyed working on local farms and was especially fond of violets. She was also very proud that she was a 44 year survivor of breast cancer.
    She is survived by her children, Roger (Gail) Pollow and Marilyn Pollow, both of Ransomville and Ralph (Pam) Pollow of Lockport; three brothers, Albert, Kenneth, and James (Diane) Zimmerman, Sr.; two sisters, Marion (Ward) Delude and Anne (Morris "Mike") Buttery; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Pollow; an infant daughter, Shirley Pollow; three sisters, Bessie Bonnett, Dorothy Chamberlain and Winifred Zimmerman; and three brothers, Junior, Edward, and Harold "Harvey" Zimmerman.
    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Monday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 13th at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Hoffman of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria.     YOUNGSTOWN -
    Harold A. (Harvey) Zimmerman, Sr., passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014, at the age of 87 at his residence under the loving care of his family and Niagara Hospice. He was born on January 8, 1927 in Youngstown, the son of the late John and Anna (Hillman) Zimmerman.
    Harold once worked for the Town of Niagara Stone Quarry. He also had worked for Carbide Carbon in Niagara Falls. He left Carbide and went back to farming, working for several local farms. He retired in June of 2006 at the age of 81 from Faery's Farm and Greenhouses in Ransomville where he had worked for 44 years. Harold enjoyed hunting and loved being with his children and grandchildren.
    He is survived by his wife, Caroline (Tillotson) Zimmerman. They were married on February 23, 1952 and just celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. He is also survived by his eight children, Harold A. (Joan) Zimmerman, Jr. of Burt, NY, Sharon A. (Lolly) Wilson of Wilson, Carol L. (Fred) Wilkesmore of Model City, Gary L. Zimmerman of Niagara Falls, Sandy M. (Glenn) Pless of Ransomville, Gregory C. Zimmerman of Niagara Falls, Cindy L. (Troy) Orzak of Middleport, NY, and Thomas C. (Shiek) Zimmerman of Largo, FL; three brothers, Albert Zimmerman, Kenneth Zimmerman, and James (Diane) Zimmerman, Sr.; three sisters, Lorraine Pollow, Marion (Ward) Delude, and Anna (Morris) "Mike" Buttery; 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Bessie Bonnett, Dorothy Chamberlain, and Winifred Zimmerman; and two brothers, Junior and Edward Zimmerman.
    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 14th at 10:30 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. William Lowery officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria. She married Morris Buttery on August 8, 1964.Anna enjoyed camping, avid race fan, loved to bowl, had the gift of gab and loved to spend time with her family, enjoyed canning foods, read the newspaper and loved her pet dogs.Surviving is her husband, Morris W. “Mike” Buttery; their daughter, Annamarie Buttery; her siblings , Albert Zimmerman and Marion DeLude; special nephew Gerald Jefford and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Wilkesmore (nee Zimmerman), age 65, of Lewiston, wife of 46 years to Frederick Wilkesmore Sr. entered into rest on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY after a lengthy illness. Carol was born on June 9, 1956, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of Caroline Tillotson Zimmerman of Ransomville and the late Harold Zimmerman. She graduated from Wilson H.S class of 1975. She married Frederick Wilkesmore Sr. on June 21, 1975.Carol was a part of the Youngstown Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Axillary for 13 years. She loved her arts and crafts, attending many craft shows, riding on the Harley with her husband also going to concerts and watching local bands perform.Surviving is her husband, Frederick Wilkesmore Sr.; three children, Frederick Wilkesmore Jr. (Cindy Richard), Shawn (Colleen) Wilkesmore and Crystal (Patrick) Hoadley; nine grandchildren, Kelli-Lynn, Amber, Sarah, Emma and Daniel Wilkesmore, Jersey and Charlie Haskell ,Grace Brennon, and Harper Hoadley; her siblings, Harold “ Butch” (Joan) Zimmerman, Sharon (Lolly) Wilson, Gary Zimmerman, Sandy (Glenn) Pless, Gregory Zimmerman, Cindy (Troy) Orsak and Thomas (Diana) Zimmerman.
