  1. 1.  Augusta B was born about 1860 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; died on 12 Oct 1941 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY or Shiloh, Richland, OH.

    Mrs. Augusta Bertha Borks. widow
    of Henry Borks, died at her
    home, 1830 Cleveland avenue, this
    morning, at the age of 81. She was
    a native of Ottawa, Ont., and had
    resided here 40 years.
    She is survived by two sons. John
    L. and Leo W. Borks; three daughters,
    Mrs. Walter Gromoll, Mrs. Andrew
    Manz and Mrs. Minnie Richey;
    nine grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren,
    all of this city. A
    son, Walter C. Borks, was killed
    during the first World War.
    The funeral will be held from the
    family home at 2 p.m. Wednesday,
    with services at the Trinity Evangelical
    Lutheran church at 2:30 p.
    m., the Rev. M. J. Kretzmann officiating.
    Burial will be in Oak wood
    cemetery.

    1264 88th St., the oldest member
    of-Trinity Lutheran Church,
    died today Clan. 13. 1967) at-her
    home after an illness of one
    month.
    A native of Stolp, Germany.
    Mrs, Gromoll came to this city
    in 1906. Her husband. Walter H.
    Gromoll. an employe of the New
    York Central Railroad, died
    Dec. 24. 1964. The couple had
    celebrated its 60th wedding anniversary
    on April 27, 1964.
    Survivors include four sons
    W. Norman, Howard J., Karl L
    and William F. Gromoll; a
    daughter, Mrs. Mervin (Loretta)
    Cook; a brother, Leo Borks; two
    sisters, Mrs. Minnie Rickkey and
    Mrs. Andrew Manz; 15 grand-
    children and seven great-grand-
    children, all of Niagara Falls.
    Funeral services will be con-
    ducted Monday at 1 p..m. at the
    Otto Redanz Funeral Home by
    Rev. Arnold W. Schneider, pas-
    tor of Trinity Lutheran
    Church. Burial will be in Me-
    moria Paark Cemetery. The
    family will be present at the
    funeral home Saturday and
    Sunday fro 2 to 5 and 7 to
    9 p.m.

    Louis John Borks, 67, of
    221 Fourth St., a retired bricklayer,
    died at Memorial Hospital
    Thursday (April 9, 1959)
    after an illness of five weeks!
    Mr. Borks suffered from a
    heart condition.
    Born in Ottawa, Ont., he
    came to this city 55 years ago
    and was a bricklayer at the
    National Carbon Co. for 20
    years, retiring several years
    ago..He was a member of the
    First Baptist Church.
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
    Anna Ambler Borks; three
    sisters. Mrs. Andrew Manz,
    Mrs. Walter Gromoll and Mrs.
    Minnie Richey; a brother, Leo
    Borks. and seven nephews
    and nieces, all of this city.
    Funeral services will be
    held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the
    Quinn and Rcardon "Funeral
    Home with the Rev. Lester
    Hunt, officiating. Interment
    will be in Memorial Park
    Cemetery.
