HOLLAND PATENT-Funeral
services were held this afternoon
at the Pritchard Funeral Home
for Mrs. Mildred Bose Baker, 37,
wife of Maurice Baker, who died
Sunday in a Utica hospital. The
Rev. Frank W. Twitchell officiated
and interment was made in
Holland Patent Cemetery.
Mildred Bose was the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. John Bose and
was born in Mohawk. She was
educated in Herkimer High
School and on May 15, 1930, she
was married to Mr. Baker.
They came to Holland Patent
in 1938, where Mr. Baker was
manager of the Seminole Farm.
In 1943 they purchased the Fred
Thompson farm.
Besides her husband, she leaves
two daughters, Emily and Beatrice;
a sister, Mrs. Harlon -Van
Valkenberg, Ilion, and a brother,
Harold Bose, New York City.
Mildred married BAKER, William Maurice on 15 May 1930. William (son of BAKER, Josiah and TWINING, Kate) was born on 28 Jul 1908 in Mohawk, Herkimer County, NY; died on 6 Feb 1982 in Utica, Oneida County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
