    of West Groton, died Friday
    May 25. i n Cortland Memorial Hospital
    where he had been a patient
    for five days.
    Born i n Newffeld. Tompkins Co,
    August 31, 1893. s on of the late Fred
    and Lorena Pike Bossard. Had resided
    in West Groton for the past
    fourteen years. Mr and Mrs Bossard
    had just celebrated their 34th
    Wedding Anniversary.
    Mr Bossard was a member of
    the West Groton Congregational
    Church a n d a member of Lansing
    Lodge F&AM No. 774, .
    Besides his wife are three sons,
    Lawrence A. and Charlie Alton Bossard.
    both of West Groton. and
    Clifton A. Bossard . of Peahody,
    Mass. two daughters. Mrs Robert
    Holeomb of Groton and Miss Beth
    E. Bossard of West Groton; one
    grandson and four granddaughters:
    two brctheru, Anson C. Bossard of
    Philadelphia. Pa., and Kermit C.
    Bossard of Cohoes, N Y , four sisters
    Mrs Howard DeCawp of Coming.
    N. Y^ Mrs. Charles E. Bogardus
    of Syracuse, Mrs Glenn H. Bogardus
    of Clarence, N. Y. and Mrs
    Winona Towner of Philadelphia,
    Pa., also several nieces, nephews
    and cousins.
    Funeral services were held at 2:30
    p.m. Monday. May 28. 1956 from the
    West Groton Congregational Church.
    Rev George Smith, pastor,
    officiating. Burial was in the West
    Groton Rural Cemetery.
    Members of the Lansing Lodge
    F&AM No. 774 conducted their
    borial service at the home Sunday
    evening, May 27. 1956.
    The bearers were Howard Jackson.
    Howard Baker, Hart Coryrer.
    .Tames Buck. Bertram Buck and
    Claude Rolden.
