    of a former Troy editor and a sis-
    ter of Mis. Park F. Matteson,
    SringerLiiids, died yesterday, the
    second anniversary of her husband's
    death. She made her
    home with a daughter, Mrs.
    Floyd D. Wander, Brunswick Rd.,
    Troy. •
    Born at Alps, she was a daughter
    of the late Artemus Bailey
    Boughton and Lorilla Reno
    Boughton and a granddaughter of
    the late Dr. Smith, A. Boughton,
    widely known Rensselaer County
    physician.
    Funeral services will be at 11
    a. m. Friday at Mrs. Wander's
    home, with the Rev. Robert
    Campbell officiating. Burial will
    be in Sand Lake Union Cemetery.

    George Wingar Boughton, Alps,
    died today at the home of Ms
    daughter, Mrs. Robert M. Nelson,
    Dutch Village, Menands.
    Born in Chatham, Mr. Bough-
    ton had been a resident of Alps
    most of his life. Retired, he ws
    associated for 23 years with
    Boughton & Peck, haberdashers,
    Broadway. Besides his daughter,
    survivors include his wife, the
    former Katharine Newman; a
    sister, Mrs. Park F. Mattison,
    Slingerland, three grandsons
    and two great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be at 2
    p.m. Sunday at the Tebbutt
    Memorial Chapel, 176 State St.
    The Rev. Bradey J. Follensbee
    of Bethany Presbyterian Church
    Menands, will officiate. Burial
    will be at Sand Lake.

    a persons, will be buried in the
    Florida resort city, where he died
    yesterday after a short illness.
    Mr Bcughton was born in
    Schenectady but received his education
    at Troy Academy and
    Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
    He and a son, George Madden
    1 Houghton, had operated the Florida
    hotel for about 10 years but
    the family maintained a summer
    home at the Alps.
    Other survivors include his
    widow, the former Miss Florence
    Madden of Troy; two sisters. Mrs.
    Albert F Demers. Troy, and Mrs
    Parke Matteson. Slingerlands, and
    a brother. George W. Boughton,
    Delray Beach
