    Harold L. Bowen died Saturday
    morning about 5:30 o'clock
    at his home on Dublin Rd. after
    a long illness. He was sixtyeight.
    Born in Humphrey December
    22, 1884 Mr. Bowen had lived on
    the Dublin farm the past eleven
    years. Previously he had resided
    many years,in Buffalo where he
    had been a foreman in the Du-
    Pont plant. *
    Besides his wife, Mrs. Florence
    Davis Bowen, he leaves a son,
    Kenneth Bowen, Altadena, Calif.;
    a daughter, Mrs. Jean Chaddock,
    Torrence, Calif.; one sister, Mrs.
    Maude Carr, Randolph; his mother,
    Mrs. Lillian Bowen, who
    made her home with him, and
    several nieces and nephews.
    The body was taken to the Van
    Rensselaer Funeral Home, Little
    Valley, and Sunday was transferred
    to the family home where
    funeral services were held Tuesday
    afternoon at 2 o'clock. Elder
    Lawrence H. Cox of the Olean
    Adventist Church officiated.
    Burial was in Rural Cemetery,.
    Little Valley.

    Harold married DAVIS, Florence Loretta about Nov 1905 in Ellicottville, Cattaraugus County, NY.     Charles F. Bowen, one of the younger
    and progressive farmers of this
    township, died at his home in the south
    part of Randolph Tuesday, Nov. 20,
    at 2 o'clock after a lingering illness
    of heart trouble. Mr. Bower was
    youngest son of Mrs. Lillian T. Bowen,
    his father Lewis Bowen, having died
    in recent years..
    Deceased was 30 years old and had
    lived hiss entire life in this county;
    his first years being spent in the vicin-
    ity of Ellicottville. For seven years
    he has made Randolph his home.
    He is survived by his mother, his
    wife, Mrs. Alice Hall Bowen, two
    children, Donald aged five years, and
    Dorothea aged three years. Also by
    three sisters,, Mrs. Maud Parsons, Mrs.
    Edna Grover and Mrs. Ruth Wright
    of Buffalo; he has a brother, Harold
    Bowen, at Buffalo.
    The funeral will be conducted this
    afternoon at the home at 2 o'clock;
    burial at Sample Hill cemetery.

    death of Mrs. Peter Yoos in Kansas
    City, Mo., on June 17th.
    Mrs. Yoaa was the former Ruth
    Bowen, youngest daughter of the
    Mr. Lewis Bowen and Mrs. Lillian
    Bowen of Randolph and lived in
    this vicmity some years ago.
    Besides her husband she is sur-
    vived by a son and two grandchild-
    ren of Kansas City and a brother,
    Harold Bowen of Dublin.
    Her aged mother and a sister
    Mrs. Maud Carr of Randolph were
    with her some weeks prior to her
    death.
    Burial was in Kansas City.

    Donald Willis Bowen, 93, of
    Heritage Green Health Care
    Center, formerly of Randolph,
    died Sunday, October 6, 2005
    in Heritage Green.
    He was bom March 10, 1912
    in the Town of Randolph the son
    of George Phillips and Alice
    Bowen.
    He was a graduate of the former
    Vollentine School House in
    Randolph.
    Mr. Bowen was a self employed
    electrician throughout the
    area. He was a member of the
    Grace Episcopal Church in
    Randolph.
    Surviving are two sons: Richard
    Gilbert Bowen and Grant
    Ellis Bowen, both of Randolph,
    five grandchildren: Marjorie
    Cooper, Christine Southwick,
    Larry Shugars, Don Bowen and
    Lisa Nieman; 13 great grandchildren
    and 15 great-great
    grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by
    his wife Ruth Burrow^BewcfT; a
    sister Dorthea Cooper and four
    brothers: Charles Bowen, and
    Harry, Robert and Erie Brown.
    Visitation and funeral services
    were not observed. Inurnment
    was in the Randolph Cemetery.
    Arrangements were by the Van
    Rensselaer & Son Funeral
    Home.
    Memorials may be sent to the
    Randolph Rescue Squad.

    Randolph Cemetery where a
    military graveside service
    was conducted by Randolph
    American Legion.
    The family suggests that
    memorials may be made to the
    American Heart Association
    or to the American Cancer
    Society,
