    passed away suddenly at his home,
    Old Niagara Road, Sunday morning,
    December 5, 1954. He leaves
    his wife Anna Bowler, two sons
    Donald C , and James W. Bowler,
    two grandchildren, and his sister
    Mrs. Mary Lambert, all of Lock
    port. Friends may call from 2
    to 5 and from 7 to 9 o'clock at
    Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home,
    242 Genesee Street where funeral
    services will be held Wednesday
    morning, December 8th at eleven
    o'clock. Interment in Cold
    Springs cemetery.

    Bowler, 74, farmer, who died unexpectedly
    of a heart attack Saturday
    at his home, 731 Old Niag-j
    ara Road, will be held Wednesday
    morning at 11 at Prudden and
    Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee
    St. Burial will be in Cold
    Spring Cemetery.
    He was born Feb. 10, 1880, son
    of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Bowler,
    in the same house where he died.
    For years he was a teamster for
    the former Indurated Fibre Corporation.
    During World War II
    he worked for the former Sardik
    Food Products Corporation.
    Surviving are his wife, the former
    Anna Fosack; two sons, Donald
    C, Lockport and James W.,
    Ransomville; two grandchildren,
    and a sister, Mrs. Mary Lambert,
    Lockport.

    Obituary of James Bowler

    James W. Bowler of Lockport, NY passed away on Saturday September 8, 2018 in Eastern Niagara Hospital. Born on June 1, 1923 in Lockport, he was the son of James and Anna Fosack Bowler. Mr. Bowler served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 – 1946 and was a Manufacturing Engineer at Harrison Radiator for 36 years, retiring in 1983. He was a long time member of Christ Community Church, active in Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Niagara County Historical Society, Lockport Woodworkers’ Club and the Dale Association.
     
    Predeceased by his wife, Catherine Billman Bowler; daughter, Ann Marie Bowler and brother, Donald C. Bowler. Survived by his children, Thomas Bowler and June (John) Knudsen; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
     
    Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at Christ Community Church, 140 Genesee St. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
