Vincent G. Weaver, 71, of 31
Marshall Place, Lockport, a retired
steelworker, died Thursday
afternoon (June 29, M67) at
Lockport Memorial Hospital after
a two-week illness.
Born Aug. 7, 1895 in Lockport,
he was the son of Edward and
Eizabeth Bowler Weaver, and a
lifelong resident of Lockport.
He retired in 1960 from the
Buffalo Steel Corp at Tonawanda,
where he had been employed
for 33 years. Since his.
retirement, he had worked as
an attendant at the Manufacturers
& Traders Trust Co. parking
lot and for Zimmie's Tire
Service.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs.
Helen B. Weaver; two sons,
Thomas V. Weaver of Montclair,
Calif., and Leo F. Weaver
of Lockport; five sisters,
Mrs. William Brittin, Mrs. Anna
Hartrup, Mrs. Harry Millard,
Mrs. Oran Alexander, all of
Lockport, and Mrs. George
Bowler of Elba; also six
grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
Friends may call at the Jose,
«h M. Kennedy Funeral Home
Inc., 122 Walnut St., where funeral
services will be held at
10:30 a.m. Monday and at 11
from St. Patrick's Church. The
family will be present from 2 to
5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Burial wilt be in Glenwood
Cemetery.

Leo F. Weaver passed away Sunday August 27, 2017 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Leo was born November 18, 1918 in North Tonawanda, NY he was the son of the late Vincent and Helena (Darlow) Weaver. He served proudly in the US Navy from 1941 to 1945. Serving on the USS LaGrange APA 124 where he was a anphip driver taking soldiers from ship to shore in the South Pacific at Mariana Islands receiving the Presidential Citation, Navy Good Conduct and Asian Pacific Ribbon with 3 Battle Stars. Upon returning from service he worked at a steel factory and retired from Harrison Radiator, Div. of GM in 1980 after 25 years.
Leo was predeceased by his wife Mildred (Chapman) Weaver. Father of Joleen (David) Bunn, Kathy (Roger) Dickinson and the late Judith Nerber; father in law of Richard Nerber; grandfather of David (Amanda) Bunn, Cynthia Rose, Kimberly (Mark) Benedict, Richard Nerber, Alan Nerber, Laney Dickinson and Brian Dickinson; Great Grandfather of Lisa Paladino, Madison Bunn, David Bunn V, Franklin Rose, Anthony Nerber and Nicholas Rose and several other great great grandchildren and special nephew, Thomas (Tena) Weaver, and several other nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday August 30, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where service will be held Thursday August 31, 2017 at 11 AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to the American Lung Association or the Charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.

LOCKPORT -
Judith M. Nerber passed away on July 22, 2014 in Niagara Hospice House. Born in Lockport on November 5, 1941 she was the daughter of Leo and Mildred (Chapman) Weaver. Judith enjoyed gardening, playing BINGO, going out for dinner, cats and especially enjoyed spending time and being with her family.
Judith is survived by her husband, Richard Nerber, Sr. of Lockport; mother of Richard B. Nerber, Jr., Alan Nerber both of Lockport and Kimberly (Mark) Benedict of Medina; grandmother of Anthony Nerber, Franklin W. Rose, Lisa Paladino, Cindy (Paul) Munn, Junior (Kelly) Benedict, and Mark Benedict, Jr.; nine great-grandchildren; sister of Jolene (David) Bunn and Kathy (Roger) Dickinson, both of Lockport; aunt of David (Amanda) Bunn, Brian Dickinson and Laney Dickinson.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, July 26th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where services will immediately follow at 7 PM. Memorial donations to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated.
