sister-in-law. Mrs. Theodore H. Piper
formerly of this city, who died on Tues-.
day, May 18th.

Mrs. Theodore H. Piper, formerly a
resident of Catawba, on Lake Keuka,
died at her home in Hartford, Conn.,
recently. Her maiden name was Stryker
and she was a daughter of a former
rector of the Episcopal church in Hammondsport.

The death of Mrs. Emma Stryker
Piper, wife of Theodore Piper, occurred
in a hospital in Hartford,
Conn., on Tuesday, May 18, following
an operation from which she did
not rally. She la-survived by her
husband and three children. The
funeral will be held in Hartford this
afternoon. Mrs. Piper was well
known in Warsaw, having passed her
early childhood here, the daughter
of Rev. John V. Stryker, for many
years rector of Trinity church. She
has frequently visited her sister-inlaw,
Mrs. Frank L. Morris.
