    RONALD'S OBITUARY
      
    Ronald Eugene Bowser, of Niagara Falls, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  He was 92.  Born in Brookville, Pennsylvania on March 25, 1930, a son of George W. and Alice May (Bowdish) Bowser, Sr.  He was a Niagara Falls High School graduate, attending Niagara University.  He served his country with great pride in the Army National Guard for 20 years and four months.
    Ron was employed as Mill Supervisor for the former Nitec Paper Corp. for many years.  Following his retirement he and his beloved wife, Joan moved to Denver for several years, returning in 1988 to Niagara Falls.  He was a long time beloved member of the First Baptist Church of Niagara Falls, serving on various church boards.  He also taught Sunday School for many years. Ron was active in the community participating in several golf events and bowling leagues. He enjoyed attending plays, musicals and FREE concerts. He was a true blue Buffalo Bills fan, and didn't mind if church let out early so he could watch the game!
     He was predeceased by his wife, Joan  (Morgan) Bowser in February of 1993; He was also predeceased by Dolores (Comer) Bowser in August of 2003; He is survived by his longtime companion Kathleen (Sherlock) Buckley; his beloved daughters, Pamela Jean (Joseph) Hash of Citrus Heights, CA; Janet Louise Kundl (Joseph Brent) and Amy Kathryn (Tim) Baxter of Niagara Falls; dearest grandchildren, Kathryn Kundl; (Stephen Kutis) ; Michael Edward (Ashley) Baxter and Jon Patrick Baxter; grand daughter in law, Stefanie Kundl; great grandchildren, Grant and Colin Baxter and Noah Kutis; two brothers, Kenneth (Florence) Bowser of Troy, Ohio; Richard A. (Late Helen) Bowser of Ypsilanti, MI; a sister Mary Alice (late William) MacDonald of Greenville, TX; several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brothers, George, Jr. and Raymond Bowser and a grandson, Christopher George Kundl.
    The family would like to thank the AMR ambulance staff, the ER and ICU staff of Memorial Medical Center, and especially Dr's Alicia Scott and Zubair Sheikh for their kindness and going above and beyond with their care.
    Services will be held at a time to be announced at the First Baptist Church of Niagara Falls.  The Interment will be private.

    Betty E. Vicaire, 98, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on October 25, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her beloved family while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mable Bowser.
    Betty was raised in Pennsylvania where she attended local schools. She moved to Niagara Falls where she would soon meet the love of her life, William Vicaire, whom she married July 18, 1961 at St. Paul’s Church. William passed away on August 22, 2021 after 60 memorable years together.
    Betty was employed at Elsie’s Restaurant as a waitress, as well as in the Laundry Department of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for many years before her retirement.
    Betty had a love for music and enjoyed singing. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and loved the holidays, especially Christmas. During her final days, she requested her daughter find the biggest Christmas tree possible to be placed in the living room, where she would later pass peacefully next to. Above all, Betty being in the presence of her beloved family who will miss her dearly.
    Mrs. Vicaire is survived by her children, Robin A. Vicaire and Gary (late Patricia) Aaron, and was predeceased by her daughter, Minta (late Jack) Rawleigh; her grandchildren, Kristen (Gary) Hill, Jerry Aaron, Veronica Barr, Wilson Aaron, Joseph (Roseann) Rawleigh, Tammy (Richard, Sr.) Lamar, and Tina (David) Saulino, and was sadly predeceased by her grandson, Jack (Tina) Rawleigh on the same day of her passing. Betty is also survived by her many cherished great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her siblings, Paul Bowser (Jean), Shirley (John) Grannis and Dixie (late Robert Lee) Jones and was predeceased by one sister Ellamae (late David) Leonard.
    Private funeral services will be held at Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.     Paul Joseph Bowser Jr., 92, of Niagara Falls, New York, passed from this life on March 8, 2024, following a brief illness under the loving care of his loving niece Robin and sisters at O.L.P Nursing Care Residence.
    Born on November 11, 1931 in Brookfield, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Paul and Mabel (Brosius) Bowser; and loving companion of over 45 years to the late Jean McBain.
    Paul proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked at the Carborundum Co. where he later retired after many years of dedication. He loved being with his dogs and spending time at his Camp in Southern New York. An avid outdoorsman, Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also had a passion for music and especially enjoyed singing.
    Paul had a special bond with his niece, Robin Vicaire, who he cherished dearly. He loved going to the casino with Robin, as well as his nephew Johnny Grannis.
    In addition to his niece and nephew, Paul is survived by his two sisters, Shirley (late John) Grannis and Dixie (late Robert Lee) Jones. He was predeceased by two sisters, Ellamae (late David) Leonard and Betty (late William) Vicaire.
    Robin wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of O.L.P Nursing Care Residence for the compassion and care given to Paul. Known as ‘Mr. B’ at the nursing home, where he was loved by everyone, he would frequently joke with the staff that he was a billionaire and he owned the nursing home. He will be greatly missed.
    Private funeral services with interment in N.F. Memorial Park Cemetery in Lewiston, NY was held for Paul’s family. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.

    Minta Mae (Aaron) Rawleigh, 66, of Town of Niagara, NY, died on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Minta was born on May 5, 1946 in Niagara Falls, NY. She was born to Betty (Bowser) and the late Wilson Aaron, and raised by Betty and William Vicaire of Niagara Falls, NY.
    Minta was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY, and attended local schools. On February 10, 1962, Minta married Jack L. Rawleigh, Sr. at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Rawleigh predeceased her on May 13, 2008. Minta was employed as a Nurses Aide at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and retired in 2010 after thirty-seven years of service. Bingo and winning at the Casino were among Minta's favorite pastimes. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to California to visit her son.
    In addition to her mother and step-father, Minta is survived by four children, Jack L. (Tina) Rawleigh of Victorville, CA, Joseph S. (Roseann) Rawleigh, Tammy P. (Richard, Sr.) Lamar, both of Lewiston, NY and Tina M. Gonzales of the Town of Niagara; nine grandchildren, Matthew (Tonya) Rawleigh, Jennifer (David) Thurlow, Joann (Jeremy) Pollow, Elizabeth Rawleigh, Michelle Rawleigh, Samantha M. Lamar, Richard B. Lamar, Jr., Nicholas Gonzales and Anthony R. Gonzales; five great-grandchildren, Aaron, Gered, Braeden, Dominick and Elijah; one brother, Gary (Patricia) Aaron of the Southern Tier; one sister, Robin A. Vicaire of Niagara Falls, NY; her mother-in-law, Thelma (late Hugh) Rawleigh. She was a special aunt of Kristen (Gary) Hill and Gary and Cody Hill. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Ray Aaron.
    Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at M.J.     Gary W. Aaron, 81, of Andover, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 5, 2023 in Niagara Falls, NY under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Brookville, PA, he was the son of the late Wilson Aaron and Betty (Bowser) (late William) Vicaire.
    Gary came to the area as a child with his family, where he attended local schools.  In 1963, he married Patricia (Clarke) Aaron, who predeceased him on May 5, 2014, 9 years ago to the date of his passing.  Gary was employed for over 40 years as a Union Millwright with Union Carbide and Carbon Graphite in Niagara Falls until his retirement in the early 2000s.  An avid outdoorsman, Gary loved hunting and fishing.  He loved his dog, Apollo.  Gary will be remembered for his sense of humor and his flirtatious nature – he loved to flirt with pretty ladies, and to Gary, every lady was a pretty lady.  Above all, he lived for his children and grandchildren, who will miss him dearly.
    Gary is survived by his children, Wilson Aaron, Jerry Aaron, and Veronica Aaron; his grandchildren, Wilson (Amber) Aaron, Jr., Angelica (Brian) Neubert, Jacob (Tyler) Aaron, Courtney Aaron (fiancé Zach Blackwell), Devin Santiago (fianceé Riley Knorr), Matthew Santiago, Darius (Alissa) Santiago, Miranda Bliss, Danica Bliss, and Mereck Bliss; 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild on the way; his sister, Robin A. Vicaire, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his wife of 51 years, he was predeceased by his sister, Minta (late Jack) Rawleigh.
