LOCKPORT. June 17.-August F.
Raduns, 57 years old, died at his
home, South Transit road, Town of
Lockport, yesterday, after a short
illness. He was a member of the
First English Lutheran church, of
this city, and a well known farmer.
He Is survived by his wife, Mrs
Anna Raduns; one son, Roger, of
Pittsburgh, Pa.; one brother. William,
of Lockport, and four sisters,
Mrs. Herman Breadlau and Mrs.
Arnold Krledeman, both of North
Tonawanda, Mrs. John Kanehl, of
Buffalo, and Mrs. R. R. Barrett, of
Ithaca.
The funeral will be held Sunday
from the home at 2:30 o'clock, daylight
saving time, with Interment in
Cold Springs cemetery.

MIDDLEPORT - Norman Raduns, 78, of Akron, died Sept. 4 at Buffalo General Hospital. Mr. Raduns was born Sept 23, 1916. He was the son of the late Gustave and Lillian Lindke Raduns. He began his auction business in 1957 starting with his father-in-law, George Karcher, and retired as an auctioneer in 1993. He retired from Akron Central School in 1979. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, where he was a former Sunday School superintendent and a former Church Council member. He was also a member of the Royalton Historical Society, the Newstead Historical Society and the Wolcottsville Golden Agers. He and his wife, the former Vida Karcher, were married on June 22, 1940 in Akron. He was predeceased by two brothers, Elmer Raduns and Alton Raduns, and a sister, Lydia Fiegel. In addition to his wife, survivors include one son and one daughter, Thomas (Penny) Raduns of Akron, Nancy (Myron) Washil of York, Pa.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Melvin (Billie) Raduns, of Wolcottsville; a sister, Florence Fry, of Wolcottsville; two sisters-in-law, Letha Raduns of Medina and Esther Raduns of Wolcottsville, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home Inc., 38 State St., Middleport Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville. The Rev. Donald Willman will officiate and burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial gifts to the Trinity Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.

Notes:

Richard E. Raduns, age 82, died peacefully in his home October 9, 2022 surrounded by his family.   

He was born September 26, 1940 in Buffalo to Elmer and Esther (Wagner) Raduns and was a life-long resident of this area.  Richard was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, the UAW, and enjoyed golfing , playing cards, horseshoes, softball and being outdoors.  Above all he had an undying love for his family and his Lord.  Mr. Raduns was predeceased by a sister: Janet Braun. 

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Vivian, his children: Betty (David) Hunt of Middleport, Dwayne (Denise) Raduns of Wolcottsville, Daniel (Jennifer ) Raduns of Somerset, David Raduns of CO, Richard Raduns of NJ, Cheryl (Todd) Dimitroff of Middleport, a brother Dale Raduns of Shelby as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces. 

The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street-Middleport, TUESDAY, October 11th from 4-6 pm only.  Private interment will be held in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY, 14094 or Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 133 Telegraph Rd., Middleport, NY, 14105.

Myrna Yoder
of Wolcottsville passed away on June 20, 2018. She was born on August 17, 1937 to Melvin and Ester (Witkop) Raduns.
Born and raised in Royalton, NY, Myrna attended Akron High School and married Donald Yoder. She worked for many years as "The Lunch Lady" at Akron High School. Myrna loved cooking and cleaning for her family and had a passion for gardening; growing unusual varieties of houseplants and flowers which were proudly displayed throughout her home.   
Besides her beloved husband of 54 years, Donald Yoder, Myrna is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Poole and Cheryl (Robert) Smith; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Katie) Poole, JoAnn Hines, Michael (Holly) Smith; great grandchildren, Jamison, and Annabella as well as a brother, Gary (Carol) Radus.
A  Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at the Clarence Center Akron Mennonite Church, 11500 Clarence Center Rd., Akron, NY 14001.

Yvonne Poole
 of Akron went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2019. She was born January 18, 1959 in Batavia, New York to Donald and the late Myrna (Raduns) Yoder.
 
She was a 1977 graduate of Akron Central High School. After graduating, she continued her education and earned a degree in nursing. Nursing was perfect for Yvonne as she loved working with people and had a gift for serving others. She especially enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She also loved playing the piano and gardening when she was able.
 
A son, Jonathan (Katie) Poole and a sister, Cheryl (Robert) Smith survive Yvonne. She is also survived by a niece and nephew, Joann Hines, Michael (Holly) Smith and great niece and nephew, Anna Bella and Jamison..
 
A Funeral Service will take place at the Clarence Center- Akron Mennonite Church on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11 a.m.
