WILSON. Jan. 31.-Mrs. Emma
Adehl Scott Brace died at the homo
of her daughter, Mrs. Clayton M. Q.
Wright on Friday January 28th. She
survived her husband. Chauncey T.
Brace by only ten days. Mrs. Brace
had been in failing health for some
little time but had been up and around
until just the last few days. She was
born in Little Falls and moved to this
town with her family In her girlhood
days where she has since resided. She
was a very active person and a loving
wife and mother. She was a kind
neighbor and had made hosts of
friends, who deeply mourn her passing.
She is survived by two daughters,
Mrs. Julia Wright of Wilson and
Mrs. Haryot Greenwood of Pittsburgh.
Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and
one great grandchild; two sisters,
Mrs. Delos Nelson of Wilson and Mrs.
LaForge of Patterson, New Jersey.
The funeral was held from the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Clayton M. Q.
Wright today, Bev. George F. Haines,
pastor of the Wilson Baptist church
officiating. Burial In Greenwood
cemetery, Wilson.
Emma married BRACE, Chauncey Taylor about 1878. Chauncey (son of BRACE, Bradford and Betsy A) was born about 1853 in New York; died on 18 Jan 1927 in Town of Wilson, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
