Services will be conducted at 10 a.m.
Wednesday in St. Joseph's Church,
North Tonawanda. for Mrs. Nancy A.
Barber, 27, of Sanborn.
Mrs. Barber, the former Nancy Bachmann
of North Tonawanda. died
Saturday in St. Mary's Hospital,
Niagara Falls, after a brief illness.
A registered nurse,"Mrs. Barber was
a graduate of Mt. St. Mary's Hospital
School of Nursing and a magna cum
laude graduate of LeMoyne College.
She held a master's degree in nursing
from State University at Buffalo. #
Mrs. Barber was on maternity leave
from her job as a counselor in the
Rehabilitation Center at Buffalo State
Hospital when she was stricken.
Before joining the Buffalo State
Hospital staff, she had been employed
as a counselor at the Niagara County
Drug Abuse Center.
She is survived by her husband.
Roger C. Barber; two children, Marie
and David; her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Robert M. Bachmann of North Tonawanda;-
two sisters, Mrs. Claire Perez
of Texas and Mary Bachmann of North
Tonawanda. and a brother Michael
Bachmann, also of North Tonawanda.
Mrs. Barber was a member of Immaculate
Conception Church, Town of
Cambria.
Prayers will be said at Brunner
Funeral Home. 156 Robinson St., North
Tonawanda. at 7:30 tonight by the
Altar Society of St. Joseph's Church,
and at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday before
funeral services in the same church.
