Frank I. Jastrzemski, 93, of North Tonawanda passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Frank was born in North Tonawanda, New York on March 7, 1930 to Frank and Zofia (Kipa) Jastrzemski, He was a Korean War Veteran having served in the United States Army from 1947-1951. He was past Commander of AMVETS POST #26, North Tonawanda. Frank and Rose owned and operated Frank's Delicatessen for over 20 years, together. He served his community as a member of the Gratwick Hose Fire Company in North Tonawanda, for over 58 years. He was PROUD to be a friend of Bill W for 51 years. Retired from Terminal of Commerce as a crane operator, was a member of the teamsters IUOE Local 158.
Frank was predeceased by the love of his life of 64 years, Rose T. (nee Anglini) Jastrzemski, along with his sisters and brother, Lottie (Matthew) Piorkowski, Helen (Edward) Kijowski, Laura (Frank) Socha, Frieda (Jim) Cotton, Claudia (Joseph) Kijowski and Chester (Mickey) Jastrzemski,
Frank is survived by his two sons, Joseph (Kathryn) Jastrzemski and Francis "Frank" (Sandy) Jastrzemski; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, also surviving are many nieces and nephews and cousins.
No prior visitation at his request. A private funeral service was held with his family. Guest registry at Wattengel.com
