    service for Mrs. Clara Spence
    Braden, 84, who died yesterday
    in the home of her daughter,
    Mrs. Miles Dewey, in Shorts-
    ville, RD, will be held at 2 p.m.
    Saturday from the Weld Funer-
    al Home in Clifton Springs. The
    Rev. Walter S. Mitchell, rector
    of St. Thomas Episcopal Church
    in Bath, and former rector of
    St. John's Church in Clifton
    Springs, will officiate. Burial
    will be in Clifton Springs Cem-
    etery.
    Friends may call at the Weld
    Funeral Home in Clifton Springs
    from 2 to 4 p. m. and from 7 to
    9 p. rn. today and tomorrow.
    Mrs. Braden lived in Clifton
    Springs for a number of years
    before moving to Shortsvile,
    where she has been living for
    the ppast few years with her
    daughter, Mrs. Dewey. She was
    the widow of Lee Braden.
    She is survived by four daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Alton Guier, Bay
    City, Mich., Mrs. Miles Dewey
    of Shortsville, Mrs.. Frank Ser-
    gent of Clifton Springs, and
    Mrs. Claude Johnson of Shorts-
    ville; four sons,, Clarence of
    Niagara Falls; Le of Interlak-
    en, Edward of Syracuse and
    Herbert of Clifton Springs; four
    sisters, Mrs. Donald Anthony
    of Beaver Dam, N.Y., Mrs..
    Raymond Bates of Elmira, Mrs.
    Ethel Vanriper of Waterloo and
    Mrs. Herbert Gallagher of El-
    mira; 12 grandchildren and 16
    great-grandchildren.

    late Edward H. Blood of Bellona,
    N. Y., formerly of Geneva, died
    on Saturday afternoon at the home
    of her sister, Mrs, Lee Braden, of
    Clifton Springs.
    Mrs. Blood was a member of the
    First Methodist Church of Bellona
    snd Seneca Rebekah Lodge No.
    159 of Oeneva. She Is also a Past
    District Deputy President of Ontario
    District of Rebekahs.
    Survivng are her father, Clarence
    Spence of Beaver Dam, N. Y.; stive
    sisters, Mrs Lee Braden of Cliitott
    Springs; Mrs. Herbert Gallagher of
    Bur ham, Michigan; Mrs. C. D.
    Anthony of Beaver Dam and Miss
    Irene Spence of New York City,
    and Mrs. A. H. Traphagen of Waterloo.
    The funeral will be held tomorrow
    afternoon at 2 o'clock at the
    Bennett Funeral Home at 207 Genesee
    street. Rev. Lynn Bugbee of
    the Methodist Church in Bellona
    will officiate. Burial will be in
    Glenwood Cemetery. Rebekahs will
    be In charge of the committal service.

    died Sunday night at the home Of her
    parents In the town of Hopewell after
    a short illness with pneumonia. Be-
    sides her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee
    Braden, she leaves several brothers
    and sisters. The body was brought to
    the undertaking rooms of Devnacy in
    this city and the funeral will be held
    at the Methodist church on Wednesday
    afternon att 2 o'clock. Rev. E. B. Top-
    ping will officiate and burial will be
    made in Glenwood Ceemtery.

    died Friday at her home
    The funeral was at 2 p.m. today in
    the Covert Funeral Home, Ovid. The
    Rev. Nicholas VanderWeide, pastor of
    the Interlaken Reformed Church,
    officiated. Burial will be at the convenience
    of the family.
    Mrs. Stewart was born in Waterloo
    the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo^
    braden. She was a graduate of the
    Interlaken Central School and the
    Rochester Business Institute. She was
    employed at the South Seneca Central
    School.
    Surviving besides her parents are
    her husband, Thomas J.; two sons,
    James L. of Montour Falls and
    Richard C. of the Naval Training
    Center, Orlando, Fla.; one daughter
    Miss Patricia Ann Stewart of
    Trumansburg; and one brother, Lee C.
    Braden of Bellevue, Wash.
    Bearers were Elmer Porter, James
    Carnahan, Ira McGonigal, Robert
    Close, Eli Steverson and Lester
    Covert.
